| The Haemophilia Society: Haemophilia affects around 15,000 people in the UK and occur in all groups. While Von Willebrand's affects around 1% of the population, many remain undiagnosed. This Charity aims to ensure that all affected people and their families receive the best treatment, care and support. |

Fred Metzgen ran the London Marathon on 22nd April 2007, completing the 26.2 mile course in the sweltering heat in 5 hours and 25 mins, raising over £2,300 for the Charity. |
