A certain man planted a rose and watered it faithfull. Before it blossomed, he examined it. He saw a bud that would soon blossom. He also saw the thorns, and he thought, "How can any beautiful flower come from a plant, burdened with so many sharp thorns?" Saddened by this thought, he neglected to water the rose, and before it was ready to bloom, it died. So it is with many people. Within every soul, there is a rose. The "God-like" qualities planted in us at birth, growing amidst the thorns of our faults.. Many of us look at ourselves and see only the thorns, the defects. We despair, thinking nothing good can possibly come from us. We neglect to water the good within us, and eventually it dies. We never realize our potential. Some don't see the rose

I am a mother of three, and enjoy my children most of the time, ages 27, 26, and 19. I enjoy most things in life but mostly having a good time. I love movies, candlelight, music, and just being with friends. I love to go cart race, like to ride 4 wheelers,scrapbook and crochet. I love my pets & collecting porceiin dolls and angels. I love my family. I am so very proud of my baby in the marines , defending our great country. He took after his grandfathers, and his fathers foot steps... I am so worried for him! This is not a good time for our nation..
And I expecially love my grand-daughters Ashtyn and Alexis and my new grandson Alexander!

My friends are the number one importance to me (outside my family, of course). They know me and love me just the same. I was blessed with some really great friends in life. A friend sticks by you when the rest of the world walks out. Friendship is truely a blessing from God above do all you can do to savor it and enjoy it......I am so grateful that even in friendship when you totally mess up that a true friend comes around. It may take a long time but it works out! I am grateful god worked things out for me and for the new friends I have been blessed with !

One of the greatest gifts a person can possess is to be able to reach past the thorns and find gracious characteristic of love-to know another person, including their faults, recognize the nobitity in their soul, and yet still help another to realize they can overcome their faults. If we show them the rose, they will conquer the thorns. Only then will they blossom, and most likely, blooming thirty, sixty, a hundred-fold, as it is given to them. Our duty in this world is to help others, by showing them their roses and not their thorns. It is then that we achieve the love we should feel for each other. Only then can we bloom in our own garden.
