Bob

This is the story of Bob. It started on one seemingly ordinary day, when all of a sudden, a giant ape came into being, thanks to the Hokopoko God of Bananarama. His name was Boberto. He seemed an ordinary ape, when suddenly, his arm fell off. From this arm, a son grew. This son became known as Bob, son of Boberto. This ape did many good deeds across the land, ranging from finding missing sheep to saving fishermen from the bay after a perfect storm. The villagers loved their god dearly, and to show their admiration for such a wonderful son, they built a temple in his honour. This temple was the largest project undertaken by the villagers, and news spread far and wide of their accomplishments. When they finally came to unveil their work to Bob, he was no where to be found. They searched high and low. Until, the looked at his play pen, and say a sign saying "Goon 2 Lunche" This was what every Hokopokian feared. When Bob got hungry, he got really hungry. In one sitting he ate a whole herd of ewes. They Hokopokian people prayed to their one-armed holy one, asking where their favourite son had gone. Seeing their despair, Boberto declared that his son had been sent to a far away land, to continue his good work in places of need. This place, was called Black Burnt. And from that day forth, no one saw or heard of Bob.
