All About Me

I'd like to be able to say something dramatic like I was born in log cabin in a raging blizzard but the truth is I was born in Tracy, California on a nice spring day in 1952 in as modern a hospital as there was at the time. The headline page for my birthday was so boring when it arrived that can't even remember what I did with it. Oh well.
I am the oldest of 5 children. I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers. My youngest sister is 17 years younger than me and only 1 year and 8 days older than my son. I have been married to the same man for 30 years and we have 1 son who is 29. I have worked a carhop, a motel desk clerk, a brief time as a housepainter and as a nurse for what felt like forever. Currently I'm retired. I enjoy many hobbies. I like to crochet, paint, make jewelry, make dolls, cross stitch, all kinds of things. There are even still some things I haven't tried. Don't worry I'm getting around to them. Don't spread this around but my favorite hobby is this computer. It's not quite an obsession but I think it's getting close. Plus we have a small 5th wheel trailer and use it to travel.
I also enjoy shopping at ebay which is an online auction. I looked at lots of them but it seemed to be the biggest and the best. I've met a lot of very nice people there, bought a lot of nice things, and learned a lot more about things I didn't buy.
