Bonaire is 60 miles of the coast of venezuela. It is a small island with wonderful people. Bonaire offers great diving. We stayed at Captain Don's. This is our 3rd time there. You can dive right from the shore and swim out a little ways to a wall and go to 100 feet with no problem. I recommend this Island for any diver. On the Island there is a salt mine which is pretty interesting to see. And the flamingo's they fly every day to the salt mines and every night they fly home to venezuela. You can rent a scooter and tour the Island. There is a state park that you can tour as well that features all the wild life on the Island. See the slave huts that was used many years ago they are still there. So sit back and enjoy all the pictures that I took.

This is Captain Don himself. He came to this Island over 30 years ago and started the first dive operation on the Island. Every tuesday at captain don's he gives a slide show of the beginning of the dive operation. | |
