The Train PlaceThe Train Place is Australia's Largest Permanent Model Railway and features Displays in G, O, HO, N and 15" gauges and is situated 1 hours drive from either Brisbane or Ipswich. Consquently has become one of Doug's favourite places to visit.

Along with clinics and demonstrations from representives of the Australian Distributers of LGB, Aristo-Craft, Bachmann and Remote Control Systems, four Garden Railways were visited, 3 in Toowoomba and 1 in Warwick.

The Toenail Ridge ShortlineNo trip to Western Australia would be complete without an overnight stop in Adelaide. So on 3rd July 2000, a great night was spent running "The Ridge" with Kathy and Phil.
