Introduction to Bushy Park Ironworks.

The traditional blacksmith in shaping and molding lifelike pieces from wrought iron. By heating the iron to a white heat he breathes life into metal, twisting and bending it into any shape imaginable. At Bushy Park Ironworks we have applied these old time proven techniques and produced a range of wrought iron products both for interior and exterior use, that are suited to today's living, while also reflecting the unique beauty and originality of a hand made product. We pride ourselves in the quality of our workmanship; insisting on only the best; from the design stage through the raw materials we use and the skill and dedication of the master craftsmen in hand forging our pieces. The style of our work ranges from classic to contemporary. We hand forge a wide range of items as detailed later. All our designs are available in a wide variety of finishes, from our standard lacquered steel, to verdigris, medieval gold, bronze or a special paint effect to match an existing color scheme.

Bushy Park Ironworks, with our design team and excellent craftsmen are prepared to undertake work at every scale, from domestic items to large archectural commissions as well as once off pieces. We pride ourselves in working closly with clients to determine exact requirements and can work from sketches, photographs or archectural drawings. Alternativly we can work with you from the concept stage and together come up with the designs. At Bushy Park Ironworks we also undertake restoration of antique ironwork,using the same materials (copper, brass, bronze, wrought or cast iron) and blacksmithing techniques as those used by the oridgional craftsmen.

To date we have undertaked work all over Ireland and also in the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Denmark Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and the USA.
