DON PICO'S
COMIDA MEXICANA
SAN BRUNO, CALIFORNIA

DON PICO'S MEXICAN RESTAURANT IS without doubt a leading Mexican restaurant in the Bay Area. Chef/Owner El Jefe Issac Meija is a four star chef and if you can't go to Mexico for the real thing visit his restaurant at 461 El Camino Real in San Bruno for the real thing. In addition, El Jeffe has created unbelievable recipes that marry our Tequila BBQ Sauce with Salmon, among other things. Insist on the Quesidilla Chocolate Dessert created by his sister, Florenzia. McCORMICK & KULETO'S SEAFOOD

This has got to be one of the most romantic drop dead restaurants anywhere. The view is incredible (almost every seat in the house, especially the bar), and especially at sunset with the San Francisco Bay spread out at your feet. They have an unbelieveable menu with some of the best seafood around. Try the Seafood Chile with any of our Tequila Hot Sauces. A wood fired oven in the Crab Cake Lounge turns out some of the best little pizzas in the world (our favorite is the rock shrimp drizzled with Café Tequila Cayenne Red hot sauce. The bartenders make a bloody mary with our sauce that even we can't duplicate (maybe it's the atmosphere).

COMPADRES MEXICAN RESTAURANT

This is one great fun restaurant in California wine country. They just added our Famous Tequila Hot Sauces for their customers and it is available to splash on your favorite Mexican dish.
My all time favorite at this fun place is the marinated grilled turkey breast served along with grilled onions. Ask for extra salsa for dipping. We really miss the San Francisco location that was across the street from our world headquarters. It is, however, worth the drive from anywhere to visit the Yountville location.

LOS ANGELES

EL CARMEN

This is probably the greatest tequila (over 300) and taco bar in Southern California. The crowd here is amazing and you will probably see a favorite movie star in the crush. They have Café Tequila Hot Sauce on the table, that is, the tables where it hasn't been stolen yet! =) Open 7 days a week for dinner. No reservations. Tell Raul we said hello and try to get one of our caps from him (good luck).

DETROIT

TOM'S OYSTER BARS & HOWE'S BAYOU

The readers of Gourmet Magazine voted TOM'S OYSTER BAR in Grosse Pointe Park the most fun restaurant to visit in Detroit. Yeah, the food is great, but the people who go to this wild place are smashing gorgeous & fun to be around. If you must eat start with the seafood chowder with a Café Tequila Hot Sauce stirred in.........and a snifter of El Tesoro Blanco to wash it down. The fish & oysters are fresh fresh fresh and chef Houlihan (London Chop House) prepares everything with loving care. Life is not complete without a visit to Tom's Saloons.
