This is an excellent example of a portrait we can create for you. It depicts 18 yr. old Spec.4 John Davis , a "Tunnel Rat" of "C" Company 26th Cbt. Engr. Bn., 11th Inf. Bde., 23rd Infantry Division, TF 1/20 Infantry. This portrait tells the true story of Davis' experience leading up to the ambush that happened on August 13, 1970 in the Ashaw Valley, Quang Nigh Province in South VietNam. Davis was conducting "land clearing" maneuvers when he was wounded by a remote-detonated land mine. Davis earned a Purple Heart among numerous awards that day and later served with several public agencies. He currently resides in Imperial Valley, California.
