2000/01 Course Outline

Beginning Lead or Copper Foil Method

Classes run for six weeks with afternoon r evening sessions available (see schedule). The course is designed for those who have never done stained glass, wish a refresher course, or would like to learn an alternate method. There are over 60 project designs to choose from, and kits are available to purchase with all the necessary supplies (please see "Kit Options"). Glass for each project is additional except for project kit purchases. Classes last 3 hours and are limited to 6 students.

Intermediate/Advanced Lead or Copper Foil Method

Classes run for 6 weeks, with afternoon or evening sessions available (see schedule). The course is designed for those who have had basic instruction but are wishing to learn new techniques (i.e. Lamp making, 3-D construction, etc.) and/or hon current skills. Students must work with the method that they are skilled in and projects cannot not exceed 24" x 24". Students are not limited to one project. Classes last 3 hours and are limited to 5 students per instructor.

Courses are $50.00 each and pre-registration with deposit is required.

We offer an additional Beginning Stained Glass class through CCC Community School Program. I is held on Wednesday evenings from

6:00-9:00 p.m. and follows Clackamas College annual schedule. The cost is the same but registration must be done through the Canby

office @ 184 N. Grant St. or by calling 503-266-2086.

A $25.00 non refundable deposit is required upon registration to reserve class space (for
workshop deposit amounts, see workshop schedule). Those not making a deposit should call ahead for space availability. A to Z reserves the right to cancel or postpone any class/workshop due to enrollment or unforeseen difficulty. Should a class/workshop date be canceled by A to Z, any deposits held will be applied to the next desirable class/workshop date or refunded. Students failing to show up for class or not giving one week notice of cancellation will forfeit all deposits. Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes. Make up sessions are at the discretion of A to Z.
