instructions

1. cut plastic canvas according to graph.

2. Stitch pieces following graphs. Part of the bean will remain unstitched. Work embroidery over completed background stitching.

3. With brisk green, overcast inside edge to red dot on each pocket.

4. Cut lace in half. With sewing needle and thread, attach lace along the inside edge of each pocket, wrapping lace over Overcast portion of top edge. Sew remaining portion of lace to backside.

5. Place pockets over unstitched portion of bean, aligning edges. Using brisk green through step 6, whipstitch bottom edges and remaining sections of top edges of pockets to bean.

6. Whipstitch side edges of pockets and bean together, overcasting remaining edges of bean.

7. With sewing needle and thread, sew hair bow to curl on head.

8. Sew sawtooth hanger or magnets to backside of bean.

9. Tuck sandwich bags into pockets.
