Q Can I get cavities even though I have Crown?
A Absolutely! Hollie, just because you have crowns does not mean you are exempt from cavities.  Decay can develop on the root surface or under the crowns and cause cavities.  You need to continue to have x-ray and exam of the area, in order for potential problems to be caught as soon as possible.

Q Should I brush more or less if my gums bleed?
A Dear Sandra, when your gums bleed, it means that plaque has caused inflammation in your gum.  This area should be checked as soon as possible by your dentist or dental hygienist for possible need for removal of plaque and calculus.  Then, and only then, yes, it is very important, and you must brush and floss your entire mouth even though it bleeds.  As times goes on, in many of these areas,  bleeding and pain should decrease, but not always.
