About the Artist: I have been working professionally as a artist for 18 years, currently working from my home in rural Southwestern Pennsylvania. In this time I have won various awards and have distributed my work world wide. Always striving to improve my skills and promote my craft. A graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and the having the good fortune of studying under the late Henry Kerner are the basis for the skills I use today.
Traditional Mediums: I prefer acrylics, Windsor Newton and Grumbacher are the best I have found. Applied with brush, airbrush, (I own many types but rely on my old Thayer & Chandler model most often), rag or sponge on canvas, illustration board or masonite.
Computer Generated: Macintosh platform combined with 202 Sony Monitor, Agfa Studio Star scanner and a Epson Stylus Pro XL wide carriage printer.
Intentions: Purley experimental stage of producing a wesite. I consider this an adventure in self promotion in a new medium. This technology is moving forward through trial and error. |
