Escape
It is so much easier
To hide from the things that cause us pain;
Run from the hurt,
Escape the pain.
Running solves nothing,
Only delays what is inevitable,
But yet we run,
Trying to escape.
Always too afraid,
To stand up to those things that cause us pain,
So we try to run,
We try to escape.
We will have to face it,
We cannot keep on running forever,
So don't try to run,
No way to escape.
