My Emotions
My emotions betray me,
Making me do what I don't want,
Warping the truth.
My emotions no longer control me,
They have caused enough pain,
Too much hurt.
My emotions lie to me,
Making everything skewed,
Destroying me in time.
My emotions got the best of me,
But no longer will my life,
Be ruined by them.
