National Cage Bird Show 2002 Awards

The Pat Scannell Memorial Trophy will be awarded for Best in Show.
The first place bird in each division will win the Higgins Award, sponsored and provided by the Higgins Premium Pet Foods. The winning exhibitor must already be a member of the National Cage Bird Show organization to be eligible to win that special first place award. Instructions on how to join are on the NCBS website.
2nd, 3rd, and 4th division place and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd section place winners will get plaques like the one above. Rosettes will also be given for those places, and for 5th, 6th, and 7th in division.
Class awards are ribbons for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each class.
Some of the specialty societies also provide their own awards for their bird species or breeds.
Youth Division winner get $1,000. scholarship, paid directly to the college after enrollment. Must be in grades 6-12 to be eligible.
