Santa Clara Valley Canary & Exotic Bird Club
August 10, 1975
Santa Clara High School Cafetorium

Dear Members,

For those of you who were not at the Picnic last month, really missed some great food. The bar-be-que was a huge success. The added feature this year were hors D'oeavre prepared by Jim Machado and some committee people. Our chef for the day was Leonard Quieto who did an excellent job cooking those steaks.

The meeting slated for Aug. 10th will feature a workshop on birds, discussion about the October FEATHER SHOW AT MAYFIELD MALL, etc.

The SHOW STANDS are completed. Thanks to Leonard for his time and energy and know how in construction the stands for the show. Thanks to those people who helped sand and spray the stands.

The show Catalog is in process of being completed. If you want to buy an ad in the SHOW CATALOG call Phil Dubois or Delilah. Make sure your information is correct (the art work will be done for you) bring the information to the next meeting or mail it to Delilah.

FEATHER SHOW      MAYFIELD MALL     OCT. 11th-12th

The feather show represents those birds that are your 1975 crop of young. Exotic birds can be exhibited if older than 1975, but will not be judged for the show. This is a wonderful opportunity to publicize the club and your birds.

Signup at the next meeting or call Charlotte LeDoux. Let's all show some birds - Rosettes will be awarded.

June Warne is now out of the hospital after surgery and doing well. Lee Majors is also doing well after surgery.
