HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

As the New Year approaches us so do our big events of the year, our annual show and banquet. The success of our show depends on you as members of the club so your participation is certainly needed. Not only by bringing the food and raffle items promised and helping at the show, but also by entering as many birds as you can. Bring your birds to the show, don't be the one to remark, “I have better birds home in my aviary.” This is the time to bring your birds, let them be judged to see how good they are. We're trying hard to make this our greatest show. How about it, will you do your part?

If anyone would like to bring any extra food for the lunches on Fri., Sat. or Sun. or for the banquet on Sat. nite, feel free to do so.

Don't forget to make plans to attend the banquet Sat. nite. Many good raffle items will be offered and we also have a few surprises in store for you. Come and have a real good time. Dinner is $2.00 and will be served at 6 P.M.

Those of you who missed the Xmas meeting and party at the Boring's missed a real good time. The decorations and food were great. Even “Bootsie” the dog was in Christmas attire. Thanks to Nancy and Hershall, June & Al for our lovely hospitality.

NOTICE:

Our regular pot-luck meeting will be held Jan. 14th, 1 P.M. at the Santa Clara High School Cafetorium. A-H bring a dessert, I-P bring a salad, Q-Z bring a hot dish. Also please bring your own table service. We will have a complete report on the show and installation of officers at this meeting.

Don't forget to read your instructions in the catalog. Also a reminder, all cages must have the tags provided by the show secretary; red tags for the old birds and green tags for the young birds.
