Dear Members,

Most breeders are busy washing & putting away cages & breathing a sign of relief that breeding season is over. Now is the time to stand-by and watch the babies moult & turn into the show specimens you have been breeding for. GOOD LUCK!

There will be a discussion held at this meeting on the cage of birds during moulting season.

Enclosed you will find a set of revised by-laws that have taken so long to get to you. Also there are tickets for some of you for our Annual Steak BBQ. We hope you will try to sell them to help to make our BBQ a real success. The money or tickets are to be returned or mailed back to Leonard Quieto by the 1st of August to allow enough time to order the steaks. Children having hot dogs will eat free. Please be responsible for these tickets; if you need more call. Map will be in the next newsletter. In preparation for the BBQ, please be prepared to donate a green salad or dessert.

Don't forget the “Feather Show” at the Sept. meeting. Those who offered trophies for the Feather Show, please have them at this meeting

Our pot-luck as usual, A-H, dessert; I-P, salad; Q-Z, hot dish. Please bring your own tableservice.

Please remember the raffle. Due to lack of donations at the last meeting, no raffle was held. Have you been doing your part by contributing a raffle item?

MEMBERSHIP DRAWING: You must be present to win if your name is drawn. Last month Pat O'Donnell was the lucky winner of $6.00. Come to the meeting maybe you'll be the next winner.

I would like to tell all the many friends of Pearl Davis that she is feeling great, looks great and she is able to go downstairs and check on her birds. Nice going Pearl!
