PET FAIR, MOSCONE CENTER, S.F. July 24 & 25th
The Santa Clara Valley Canary & Exotic Bird Club has a booh at the Moscone Center for the display of birds. We have been donated two large flights and need birds for them. Diane Cox and committee have been working hard on this. We would like everyone to participate in this fair as there will be a large parade of spectators visiting the exhibits. It would be nice to have some colorful, unusual birds to display. We have members who have volunteered to bring finches and cockatiels. Plants are being used to give a natural environment. If you have any large plants that we can use contact Diane Cox. Also contact her if you have birds to display.
It is with sadness that I announce the loss of one of our members. Roger Erwin passed away on May 24th. Our warmest sympathy to his family.
A discussion has come up regarding the definition of a novice.
In the Show Catalogue it is listed:
A novice is a club member who has never won a first, second,
or third place in any division in an open Show.
If you have any reason to disagree with this rule as it is written and want the wording changed, fill in the form below and mail to me.
I WOULD LIKE THE WORDING CHANGED
