47th Annual Cage Bird Show, December 13, 2008
On exhibit will be cockatiels, budgies, colorful finches and canaries! Hundreds of birds are expected to compete and several renowned bird judges will award ribbons and trophies. Song canaries will be judged on their singing abilities. Other birds will be judged on condition and conformation.

The show will be open to the public on Saturday, December 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A $3 donation is requested for admittance per adult, $1 per child.

Everyone is encouraged to pre-register for the show. If you register before December 5, we will mail your show tags and show catalog to you. If you pre-register after that, you can pick up your show tags at the show. Click here to see the Pre-registration Form.
Bird checkin for most birds is Saturday from 8-9 a.m. American Singer Canaries must register Friday night from 7-9 p.m. Show tags for all birds may also be purchased Friday night in the song canary registration area..
The Spanish Timbrado Canary division will be held a week earlier due to the judge only being available on the original planned show date (the whole show will return to the first weekend in December next year.) Free public viewing of the Timbrado Canaries will be on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Hampton Inn, 24137 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA. The show awards banquet will be held on Saturday night at Harry's Hoffbrau, 390 Saratoga Ave., San Jose. Our reserved room will be open starting at 6:00 pm. No RSVP or pre-payment required, just show up and buy your own food in the cafeteria line and your own drinks at their bar. Awards presentation will start when most if not everyone is finished eating, around 7:00 pm.
