Miscellaneous:
I have taught a basic coastal navigation course, which I co-developed, based on both the CYA and CPS standards. Helped to teach basic sailing. My electronic navigation experience includes a variety of GPS units, radar, and Loran. I own adequate gear for offshore voyages. My galley skills are basic. Some mechanical and electrical repair ability. I am mature, honest, dependable, hard working, and reasonably healthy and fit. I have crewed on power boats from my own 19' speedboat to a 48', 1950 wooden yacht.
