For entertainment we had a 10 CD stacker for a full day for tunes as a sweep of both AM and FM at Camerons Corner did not lock on any signal...

We got bogged(stuck) in a small sand patch in an area beyond the resolution of our maps. We decided to dig the Ford out of the sand in the 45C(110F) heat rather than waiting for the weekly patrol by the Park Ranger. Did we really have enough water? Low resolution maps |

Packs of Emus patrol the wastelands. We stopped the car and were stalked by two packs of Emus who always maintained 180degrees apart, much like the intelligent and cunning Veloceraptors portrayed in Jurassic Park
