The Gates of HELL

He's spawn of all evil, the devil incarnate, money mad, power crazed, deranged certainly, insane perhaps, a few who most doubt the sanity of call him a genius, he's fanatical about issues concerning Windoz 95, he foams at the mouth and most sane people shun him...
but enough about me, what about Bill?

Good points

Yes, even people like Bill and companies like Softmicro have good points, well in this case anyway a good 'point', a single solitary point. BASIC.
Basic? Yup 'ol bill and chums practically invented the lingo, and great it is too the one thing, unfortunately, I must be thankful to him for. Bah.

Bad points

Ahahaa! Here we go; interesting facts and figures ripped from various interviews...

Fancy working for Softmicro? You've got to work hard if you want to keep your job at Softmicro; every six months the bottom five percent of the workforce is sacked!
Bill isn't too well known for his in-depth knowledge of popular culture. When Sting phoned Bill asking to meet him Bill had to ask someone who he was.
OK So Bill and co-partner Paul Allen wrote BASIC, but they also designed COBOL - how's that for something deserving eternal damnation?
Bill also isn't know as the ideal boss, apparently at work he's rude, snappy and condescending.
He also refuses to watch TV for fear of developing an unhealthy interest in banal shows.
Bill likes music by Frank Sinatra, what can I say?
The original LAN software was developed by Softmicro and a company called 3Com, they didn't exactly get on well together or as a 3Com exec put it "Our engineers were treated like s--t by the Microsoft people... they were forced to suffer daily indignities in the face of the obnoxious programmers. One of my friends referred to them as the Hitler Youth."
Bill's $50 million house is precision built; during the building a huge cedar tree that had been planted earlier was moved 4.5 inches from it's original position. This decision took two hours to reach.
