AREXX is a script language for the Amiga Computers that takes origin from the REXX language for IBM computers. This language permits programs to comunicate each other interactively and to cooperate. This happens throught Message Ports that may be called like other system periferal devices. AREXX makes also possible to write simple script programs that can use all sistem resources and access system functions and workbench User Interface tools. This language, in additition to the Amiga's native real preemptive multitasking ability OS, permits the realization of very powerfull cooperative work tools, involving many programs of very different kind in a single, user friendly, development or creative system. | ||
