I
know this is a A+ site, but most move onto Network +, so here's my dump.

First
off, I need to vent a bit. I would just
like to say; I don’t see very many people doing decent brain dumps. I do see a lot wanting other person dumps
but after they take the test, they are too lazy too help those that
follow. Some do the “generic
dumping; “you need to know this subject, that
subject, ect” These are helpful but nothing like true brain dumps like my A+
dump and this current one. My dumps and
dumps like this are not to be cheating, but to give you a perfect idea of
questions asked.
Even those who are in the field need to study
on some things, particularly things like tables and lists ect. But none of us need to memorize entire books
on every aspect of the subject. Some
of these you would never use in real life (that’s why you ha
e
reference books). So please, if my dump
is helpful, then take the time to write one when you complete the tests.
Hats
off to those that do take the time to brain dump correctly and to web masters
with the free online tests and brain dump sponsoring.
My
test took me just under 30 mins, this included double checking answers. So you have plenty of time. I was presented with the picture of a token
ring topology and had to identify the MAU.
I also had to identify the ring topology.
There
were not any in depth questions on the OSI layers. Just the few you see listed below. There were no questions on TCP utility switches.
The
questions here are not word for word but they are close. Remember that some of my answers were\are
