Don't be embarrased because you forgot that report! Use compuTerway's computer system to store your documents and they'll always be just a phone call away. You'll be able to retrieve them via a fax machine or a fax-modem, and have them sent to a fax automatically via any touch-tone telephone. An index of available documents can also be retrieved. Documents can be password protected.
Using this same system, you can have information available to your customers without having to take phone calls yourself or having to pay an individual to do so. The customer can retrieve a catalog of available documents from which he can select those he wishes to receive at a FAX machine of his choice.
To try this yourself, call (916) 428-6544, and when prompted for a mailbox number, enter 555-5555# (that's seven fives followed by the pound sign). Listen to the recorded voice listing of available documents and enter the number of the one you want to receive, followed by the pound sign. When you are finished selecting documents (up to 10 per phone call), you will be prompted to enter the telephone number of your FAX machine.
[ Please note that unless you have contracted this service, you will only be able to retrieve documents long distance if you use your FAX machine to call compuTerway and then start your receive manually. In other words, compuTerway will not pay for long distance FAX transmissions for those just trying the service - not yet, anyway. In addition, until expansion capital is earned, this demo will not always be available. Any financiers reading this ??]
In addition, you may store voice messages (such as directions to a meeting place, instructions, etc.) to be retrieved by clients, coworkers, etc. via touch-tone telephone. These messages can also be password protected.
Voice Mail Services
Use compuTerway's computer system to store your incoming voice messages and/or faxes which can then be retrieved from any touch-tone phone. You can check your messages at your convenience. You can even be paged automatically if you receive a new voice message or fax in your mailbox.
