Do you wear a uniform?(John: No, we don’t have a school
uniform . We are allowed to wear
anything we like. I’m glad because I can’t stand uniforms. The colours are usually awful: grey, navy blue,
maroon... I enjoy wearing something different
every day. It must be terrible to have to
wear the same clothes all the time. Lucy: I’m very interested in fashion. For me, clothes are very important. I buy lots of magazines and I like trying new styles. I think
your clothes express your personality. I’ve
got a friend. She wears a uniform at school - a green blazer
and a white shirt… and white socks! She isn’t allowed
to wear trousers or jeans. But she says she doesn’t mind,
because in a uniform no one can tell if you’re rich
or poor, and she says that schools where
children wear uniforms have a better
reputation. John: I don’t agree at all! It depends! We don’t have uniforms and our school has a fairly good reputation!) |
