Dragons as Player Characters

Long before there was a "Council of Wyrms" there were such NPCs as Tycho, Baahamar, Duethrona, etc. And likewise, there were PCs like Shaa, Benjamin, Gallavor, Phasia, Ahzmodeä, and others. The point? Playing dragons as player characters is nothing new. There is a wealth of interesting and worthwhile information in the Council of Wyrms book. But, to be useful, dragon PCs need to be able to share the same campaign world as their humanoid counterparts. Likewise, there are some better ways of handling PC dragons. Accordingly, the following PDF file contains everything you'll need to know to play a dragon PC.

If you're interested in playing a powerhouse, please do NOT try a dragon. They are complex and exotic, and at higher levels very powerful, but they are also a bit of a stretch when it comes to role-playing. Even more than elves, lizard men, or thri-kree, here is a player race with its own way of looking at the world.
