Mumia Abu Jamal is an award-winning Black journalist and radio
commentator. In July 1982, he was convicted of the murder of a
Philadelphia cop. He is currently on death row.
FACTS:
*Key witnesses recanted their testimony, stating that it was
coerced by cops.
*Ballistics evidence stated conclusively that he could not have
committed this crime.
*Police allegations of a confession proved to be fabricated.
Mumia is a political prisoner, persecuted for his membership in the
Black Panther Party, the MOVE Organization, and for his commitment to a
just and non-racist society.
Mumia has voiced his support for the ARA and our August 29th rally.
A personal letter from Mumia will be read at the rally, and members of
the Black Panther party will be in attendance.
Contrary to what the paper may have said,ARA is not a skinhead only organization.Anyone who is anti-racist can join.
