Well havent updated in a while. Anyways school sucks, math sucks, acne sucks, food at school sucks. I'm halfway caught up in math and i finished my last physics lab. Ouch i'm tired. Tommorrow gotta do more math, and do some CS, then on wednesday i have CS due, and gotta do more math again to turn in thursday then thursday gotta study like mad so i get more then 50% on my 2nd math midterm. Ok this week will suck. I did manage to install my new agilent arcticooler and sell the rest off on anandtech and to friends at cost. my athlon 1000 now is running at 1100 at much cooler than before and my radeon LE is now at 183mhz. Of course it doesnt make web browsing any faster but i was bored... haha. Oh well, i ordered crouching tiger hidden dragon on dvd. its coming from malaysia should be here in 2-3 days. cool eh? Anyway sleepy time.

Well today i went to the NSU culture show. I brought my digital camera, and well i got like a ton of horrible pics that were out of focus or blurry from people moving and stuff. I guess i wasn't concentrating on holding the camera really steady. One that came out decently is below. It was a really good show, though very entertaining especially considering it was free. Me chris and terry went and it was nice.

Also i bought 10 1 ghz pentium 3 chips. Only cost me $1800, too bad 2 of them were dead chips, getting refund next week. At least thats not too bad. Should make a good $300-350, and then me and carter scored an awesome deal on another message board. Got 50 celeron 366s with heatsinks and fans for only $1000. Should make myself around half a G for that. Which brings me to what connie was supposed to help me do , which was buy clothes with that money. I have barely any clothes, and the ones i do have are all old and small. Basically i've done nothing this weekend but attempt to make money. I guess thats productive. And the one boneheaded thing i did was i was buying terminator 2 ultimate edition from anandtech and i gave the guy my address from sunset for some reason, so they are returning to sender it, and i have to get it sent to reiber. DAMN. Oh well. Tommorrow jason comes up and i get mongols !!! woohoo.

All i can say for today is the following. Valentines day along with school, UPS and dorm food all suck ass. They are evil evil evil evil. That and my day sucked. Well for lemme think now. Hmm i guess its just jason who has a girlfriend, well happy valentines day jason.

Well today i did close to nothing. I got up , ate cup noodles, watched 2ball, part of the 3 point contest and the dunk contest. amazingly i was more excited over 2ball this year than the dunk contest. Worst dunk contest ever and i've been watching since 93-94 season. I'm pretty sure the all star game tommorrow will also suck, but i'll probably watch it anyways. I also got my 1ghz athlon this week. Its in my computer now, unoverclocked as usual. the temperature monitor says 89C which is wrong since well, that would have fried the chip long ago, since if it was readin 89C then it would really be in the 105C range because it's not directly reading the core. I'm thinking i might have broken the temp monitor at some point, or maybe it wasn't designed right. ohwell, it works fine at 1ghz and its stable.

Also i went to eat dinner with connie and mary and jannie or something and another friend of mary's. Hedrick food sucked today. I think i had a pizza slice. My entire hall i think went home except for the norcal people and the international student, and even some of the norcal people i havent seen all day. After dinner i was in my room , but i went to the bathroom and all of a sudden mary and connie were in my room. I wandered around with the, and we tried to play ping pong but well that didnt happen. I went up to their place for a while, we did pretty much nothing, and that was about it. Well now i'm bored so i think i'm gonna go sleep.

Well today i went to get a haircut and ate some lunch at gushi in westwood. ALso went to math, yes that was a waste of time, i thought we were getting our midterms back , but no we didnt. My TA even admitted he didnt know what he was doing. Also played at my IM game, both ACA teams were playing, but the team i was on had 11 guys including me, so i played for the other team that had only 6 people. Of course this one dumbass on our team insisted he could guard their leading scorer but no he was too slow and we lost 44-33. I wanted to guard that guy because i was probably the fastest guy on our team, but nooo mr i am mr post played who missed 3 out of 4 shots, only to make the last one since the other team didnt rebound had to guard him. Their leading scorer had like 20+ points. It was the NSU squad that we lost to, and well if some of our other players had decided to come maybe we could have won at least one game. My actual team got murdered like 40 something to 16. I realized that i either am insanely fast which i'm doubting or people just dont know how to run hard the whole game. No wonder we lost.

Well i broke down. I bought a 1ghz athlon to replace my 800mhz one. I got it from the same guy i got my 2 p3-550s from. Some idiot on ebay actually paid $150 for a single p3-550s. Made $70 off him, and another $60 hopefully on the other, that should cover my 1ghz. The 1ghz was tested to run at 1200mhz at default voltage, but i think i'll be conservative and run it at 1000. My heatsink isn't that good, but at least, i know that i've got that extra 200mhz or so for a rainy day. The only bad thing that sucks is that my new radeon doesnt like playing with my matrox PCI , especially now that all the slots are full. Since i barely use the 2nd monitor in windows i took the other card out. Everything is stable at least, and at least it stopped me from almost formatting. Well back to math because well math sucks.

Man i've still done nothing. Today i took my math midterm. Did ok i think. Probably b+/a- around. Finished my physics lab. That was a waste of brain cells. Finally got most of my computer working, damn radeon. DVD is playing with windvd, and everything seems to work, but i'm not sure if counterstrike is still locking up. Also go to see this movie trailer. You'll laugh. Movie trailer Basically today was a wash again, on sunday i went to 3rd street with carter since i was bored. That was almost bad, except that i found out that rocky 1-5 will be on dvd in april, and we saw some really really good break dancers perform. Didnt do much else. Man i need to get a life. I've got like 3200 posts on anandtech. Sick. oh well nite.

Whoa! Today, my katmais got found. My laundry got done. I had a piece of underwear come out with wierd yellow streaks and orange streaks all over it, i think the rubber melted, again. Damn dryers from hell. ANyways, i got my dual katmai 550s , turns out they got sent to covel, and i found that out when i was there with carter. I went to carters and helped him test his motherboard after we went to subway. Subway is good. The mobo was broken, it was the one he got from his roomate, so he might rma it if he can. After that i watched this wierd chinese movie with carter and his other roomate jeff. It was about cooking , pretty cool though. ALso found out that UCLA beat stanfords undefeated asses today, and we should get ranked in the top 25 just for that.

But the best thing today was waiting for me when i got home. A HP c200 digital camera, with tiffen lenses and 64mb CF card came today. But that was not the best thing, my sb live xgamer came. After jiggering it all around in the slots, i got it working with full digital audio on my digital speakers. OH MY GOD! You have not heard audio until you have heard full digital. Dolby digital 4 point surround is just sick sick sick. It sounds so clear, so perfect, its like being in a movie theatre that has thx. the bass is so clear and undistorted that you dont get that horrible reverberating sound you get when you have a cheap sound card giving it bad low end signals. Everyone buy a sb live now and a fps2000 and see what you are missing. And as to matt, yes this is my filipino side talking, i've now got a better sound system on my computer than most people's cars. Cant wait to get some dvd software so i can try out office space on this thing. I think its got ac-3 decoding too, woohoo.

Well it pretty damn late. But i cant sleep. Sucked today, i forgot to make a note sheet for compsci quiz and i fucked up a problem again. Damn. Oh well at least i finished my homework. Also, my pant pocket caught on the chair and it ripped since they were nylon pants. Dammit, had to buy a sewing kit and fix that crap. Well anyways, i went to mongols with terry david and chris, and then watched meet the parents again. I decided no to do work, since i spent the last 3 days catching up. I guess i should read econ tommorrow since i havent read in a while. Econ is such a waste though, but i figure i should take the 30 minutes to catch up and read the 2 chapters. So after mongols we played pool, i worked out, and i think i'm actually getting stronger. Then i came back, drank all my iced tea and installed my dvd drive. No one seems to be at school since it seems they all went home, which kinda sucked since it was so damn quiet. And what sucks is people took all the laundry spots after 10pm, so i gotta get up early to do my laundry since i ran out of underwear and if i dont do it tommorrow i'm screwed.

Also what sucks is i think the mail room may have lost my dual p3 550s, since the tracking number says they arrived, 2 days ago but they aren't here . Sucks man. They say i'll be compensated if it doesnt turn up. Damn. Terry got his athlon 750 and board, and it runs at 950. I think after i get my retail box for my 800 back next week when i go home (since my house is gonna be finished) that i can go and sell it and buy a new 1000 one or something maybe. I probably dont really need it, so i'm still thinking. Also i got my check from ocz computers the other day and deposited it. I made like $2000 and he ran out of fans in 9 days, so he wants 420 more. Which will get me another $3000. Woohoo, if this continues at the rate its going maybe i can buy a nice car or invest it all in intel and make even more. Seed money is building matt... and you said i'd never get the cash for it. HAHAHAHAH! The only bad thing is that agilent is taking 3-4 week to get us 400 more fans, so it slows it all down. Damn i wish i could just order 800 but i dont have enough money for that right now. I might have to file a tax return for this if it gets too crazy, damn IRS i hate you federal government and you damn tax raping bastards. Well i guess its time to go back to listening to great music from the rocky soundtracks.
