Well today i bought some more crap. I am addicted to buying crap. I hope i end up not losing too much money on this upgrade. I bought a p3-850 speedstep for $154 shipped off some guy on ebay privately. His auction was gonna end at like $105 in 11 minutes, and he panicked and canceled. He's dumb since people would have bid like crazy after since the last one sold for $200. Anyways, i'll just sell my 800mhz for around $145 and upgrade 50mhz for like $10. I also got a gameboy advance with fzero advance on anandtech for $95 shipped. Like almost new, a week old or something, i get a carrying case too. Pretty cool, dont know if i'll keep that, or give it to my cousin as a joint present for his birthday. He's my cool 8 year old cousin oliver who is dennis' brother, and is sad that he doesnt have an advance, since our cousin joeseph who lives next door to him and is also 8 has one. His birthday is in like a month, i figure i'll beat fzero get bored and give it to him. he told me i could sell his regular gameboy color so i wont be broke. What a cool guy.

I also went to work again today. Ate at mcdonalds again with all the young guys, including the CFO's son eugene who is going to ucla next year as a transfer, and the VP of commercial product's son who is an annoying 16 year old and these two 21 year old car freaks. I know his brother from before and well his brother was kinda weird too. Eugene is cool though, but he just talks about cars with this other guy all the time. And then there is this guy chris who also eats with all of us, he's pretty cool, quirky though. They are like working there for the rest of their lives though, which well would suck if i had to do that. I guess thats why i'm in college. I am also thinking about getting a xircom rex 5000 since jason suggested it, since i'm selling my palm pilot. I figured all i need was addresses and phone numbers, and the rex is like a credit card sized thing that stores those, and goes into a laptops pc card slot. They are like $50 though, so i'm thinking i'll just stick to paper for a while.

Well the car was right there when i actually started getting into the lane, but i looked at my side mirror before that and it wasn't there, so i figured it was ok to drift over into the lane, but by the time i started drifting over he was right there. Of course i may just be blind as i called a beat up piece of shit truck a nissan frontier.

Today my cousin james and i were randomly driving and we came across the hermosa beach like walk pier thing. It looked pretty nice, i remember that is where me willy and terry ended up when terry said he had to be home by midnight or his parents would turn into pumpkins or something, and said he had to walk home. we even saw that same comedy club. We didnt get out though, no parking. Seems like a nice place to go to. We then ended up at redondo beach again and my cousin smoked like 3 cigrettes. At the beach i just sat there staring at the ocean. I mean i dont smoke, and i just talked to my cousin. We saw this couple down there, and well it was freezing i figure, but they were just down there walking around. Man it was kinda depressing, i'm figuring maybe if the stars line up right i'll have someone to do that with someday, instead of sitting at the top of the beach watching my cousin smoke.

OK I dont think i'm ever gonna forget today. First off during the daytime was pretty normal. I ate mongolian at the mall with my brother, my sister didnt wanna go , so she stayed at home and ate leftover pasta. Later i went with my cousin to the nissan dealership again, because i got the 6 disc cd changer for $122. I then installed that and my new plastic dash panel, discovered a small plastic piece on my car that is slightly damaged, it costs $35 to replace since its fake wood grain, so i dont think i'm gonna get a new one, since you cant really tell since its inside, and still is held on on one side by a snap thing. just the other snap is broken. I also got my laptop back and it only took 3 days, i'm really impressed with HP laptop support, now both my usb ports work and they left my new CPU in there too.

Anyways i eat at peter's place for dinner, and well their boba area didnt look as good as gogocity or whatever. I figure they dont sell as much, but some asian punks were there. So i got to matts and we decided we want to go to either santamonica/westwood area, or the block at irvine. So we call everyone, but terry and juney aren't home and connie was going out. So it ends up being me randy, brian and matt. So after picking them up i decide on the block. Anyways on the way there, it was pretty clear and i drove like 75-80mph since we had clear lanes, except they had stupid construction on the offramp we wanted so it was real slow, but then we go to matts apartment. I meet his roomates and am amazed at how big the place is, how near it is on campus, and the fact that they had like 8 computers (literally) was scary as well. So his roomate tells us how to go to the block, and i'm already thinking its not gonna be so great because he goes you guys aren't gonna see a movie? MAtt mentions that we heard there were hot girls there, but he's like yeah i guess, but thats not much to do. He was right when we got there, there were some hot girls, but it was pretty lame actually except this one shabu shabu place look all right. We saw 12 asian guys sitting together talking and i was like wtf is that.

Anyways on the way home i was supposed to go 405 S to go back to matts area, and go boba but i forgot which way we went to get to the block so i just went 405 N and we headed home. We figured we'd go to gogocity again, since i was feeling asian from all the riceboys and brian never tried it before. So we are driving along, and the freeway is even more clear since its like 11:30 now. So no riceboys, but we get to this one part where i'm in the 1st lane. Like we see this guy driving all fast, until he had to slow down behind a big truck or van in lane 2. So i just drive up near him since we've got an open lane, and we were already going faster so at my present speed i caught up. So he is all staring at us, and i just drive buy and switch into lane 2 ahead of the truck. I was thinking if i stayed in lane 1 all fast, then cops would think i was speeding since i was all alone. Anyways, we figure he is insane and i was like, well he's stuck behind that truck he's not coming up here.

Anyways later on , we see him weaving all over the place and he gets like right next to us again, and we are going pretty fast like 85mph, hitting 90mph sometimes and well the lanes were pretty clear and i guess i wanted to stay with him, and also wanted to get back early so gogocity wasnt closed. Anyways, we come to a pretty steep for freeway curve in the road, and well i start turning (its a left) and my car starts drifting rightwards, but his car is like 2-3 car lengths behind at this point (which isn't a lot at this speed, but we were maintaining speed and going faster than him at this point) so i figure i'll just let my car slowly drift into lane 3, and get through the turn and be in that lane. It was all legal, except i couldn't reach my signal since it was all low, and i was holding the wheel with both hands and didnt wanna take a hand off it since the would be real stupid. Lots of people dont signal anyways, so i was pretty calm about that. Anyways, i am looking at my right side mirror and this insane guy starts speeding up, and i'm like shit, i'm like 1/3 of the way in his lane already. The lanes there were pretty wide so he is kinda in lane 4 already and his lights are probably near the back part of my rear door at this point. So i'm like holy shit! So i was thinking of swerving back into my lane, but i didnt do that because i figure i'd lose control of the car at 90mph. And i didnt slow down either because at that angle we'd have hit him probably. So i speed up to like 97-98mph and i guess he figured that speeding up when i was switching lanes was not a good idea, so he starts drifting into lane 4 (which was also clear, it was just our two cars basically). So when i finally get into lane 3, i'd say we cleared his car by 3 feet. Which again is not very much, and brian says it was like 4 inches, but i know my car, and it has a short back side. But man that was the scariest thing i've ever been through, i'm happy that nothing happened.

So my side of the story is a little bit different than matts and well as the driver i was pretty scared and got a little sweaty. It was stupid to take the turn at 90mph. I thought i could do it, if it weren't as sharp like that, maybe it would have or maybe i should have held the wheel farther to the left. But either way , i did it wrong, but i figured no one was in lane 3 and we'd be ok. The most insane thing is that the guy never even honked as he nearly accelerated into my car which was switching lanes. And to top it off he drove off at like 100mph after getting in lane 4 and switched back into lane 2 and sped off. Amazingly this whole thing was between my nissan altima, and his toyota corolla. Insane. Again i am sorry to you three for putting your lives at risk. Connie if you were in the car, i would never have gone that fast btw. probably would have stayed around 75-80. I guess this is a night i wont forget for a while. The worst part was that brian was kinda laughing about it at the boba place, and i was thinking damn, that is not funny.

Boba was pretty good again, i think the balls were fresh because they weren't really cold and they were soft. Brian said it was ok, and randy didnt want any. We then got milkshakes since we wanted to see who was at torrance crossroads and i wanted to just calm down with the milkshake. Then everyone went home.

If anyone is worried about Chris , he cut his hand cutting cauliflower. Or as he would like to say "i was stopping my knife wielding drunken housemate". Anyways today fedex picked up my laptop because the usb port is broken and HP said they'd fix it. Its pretty cool that they are fixing it especially since i didnt even buy it and the serial number is invalid since it was already a returned unit that i fixed myself. Oh well, they are fixing it for me. haha. They even paid for overnight shipping both ways. I probably wont be on aim to much this week for that reason, then again i am working the middle of the week so i probably wouldn't have been anyways. Its also kinda ironic that the dvd drive for my laptop came the day it left.

Matt offered to let me borrow his rather broken router, so that i could fix it and then use it, but i figure i'll just use my brothers computer if i have to. Besides i work fixing computers all day, and well i didnt wanna fix that thing just now. Also another thing, i was in the bathroom at work washing my hands for the like millionth time (so dirty there, you have no idea), and i was just like, damn i'm an ugly dirty bastard. It didnt help that i had hewlett packard crap all over me, and that i didnt comb my hair and smelled since i was wearing the same pants as the day before. Ahh... work sucks. Me and two of the other repair guys did notice that there is a cute girl that works in theoffice part that looks like shes around 20, which means she's probably 26 in asian years. We have no shot in hell at her though.

Today was pretty boring. I woke up and ate at carls jr. then i came home and seeing nothing to do fell asleep. After that i went to the 85th birthday of my dad's mom's cousin or something. Went with my cousins and some other relatives, food was good. It was in monterey park. After that i went to brian's house and we drove around aimlessly. Went down to manhattan beach. What was funny was on the way back, on sepulveda, we pull up behind this white honda civic riceboy with like body kit, and the whole light thing. So i change lanes to the right lane, and we get to a red light , near that fatburger. Anyways, like i'm all thinking ok, yeah lets blow by him, so when the light turns green, you can hear his death muffler making all those sounds, but i blow by him and then i slow down to like 45. So then, he blows by us on the left lane, and i speed up again, and pass him up pretty easily and switch into his lane. Man it was so funny, he had these neon lights inside his car, and they kept flashing. Brian and I laughed for a while about that.

Friday was when we tried to go to downtown longbeach, and ended up at the samoan christian festival. Apparently we were real close to where we wanted to go. Earlier on friday i attempted to replace the plastic window in my dash that covers my dials . But nissan was out of stock again, so i have to get it next thursday. But i did figure out how to take my dash apart. Saturday i ate japanese curry for lunch at this curry place on artesia for lunch that my dad took me and my brother to. The waitress was real cute, and the steak was good, that was a great lunch. The curry was real good too. For dinner my cousin and I ate at koji bbq, which was good, but a little too much meat for me. We then went to cerritos mall area, because my cousin wanted to show me that i guess. The rest of that day i did basically nothing but download mp3s and music videos on morpheus.

I'm sure that all 2 of you that read this page have been anxiously awaiting this update. Well here it is... Anyways, matt quit work. Today kinda sucked, it was real boring, and i felt like crap its just so dirty there, my acne is going crazy. Oh well, i get paid right... Last weekend i did two things of note. I stuck on the logos for the back of my car, so now its got a nissan logo and a little gxe there. And i did it perfect. YEA! Ok other than that i went and saw rush hour 2. Oh yeah, my cousin james came back and i hung out with him yesterday. Thats about all i've done. Other than that , i slept, contemplated the meaning of my life, and counted off the seconds until school starts. I want school to start as soon as possible. Oh yeah i downloaded mp3s too. I listen to the radio in the car all the time to i guess that keeps me up with the new music. Anyways, i've got work for ONLY 2 more days, if anyone wants to do anything thursday night or friday (kareoke, mini golf, citywalk anyone?), i'm am ready to do whatever, and i even have gas for it. Too bad no one wants to do anything 90% of the time...

Well i finished my 2nd week of work. Worked around 28 and a half hours again, so another $210 again. Matt had to quit work because of jury duty, and well his feet and all that. That really sucks because now i have to work alone, and well for the next 7 weeks, that could be kinda depressing. I paid my 2 months rent and deposit yesterday. Thatkinda sucked. Also went to esuc to hear discuss stuff, got my esuc lounge key, and also volunteered to be the host of the esuc game show at freshman orientation day. that will be fun.

I got some discouraging news today, but well i'll be optimistic because things can change, and nothing is permanent.
