Happy Halloween! Saw a lot of people in costumes today. I went to universal city walk with erin, connie and mary today. They bought some sandals and a water weenie and other girl things. I had $10 on me so I had to actually borrow money and pay it back after we got back. I feel like a scrub. Jason in texas was right. Anyways that was fun and on the way back we saw a bunch of "chulos" driving like morons and getting the window on their car broken off by a van. And Mary was all scared. And connie though that they carjacked the guy in the van either that or he drove off and one of the guys in the moron car ran after it. Then later on they saw what a "cute" guy in a brand new BMW m3 and mary opened her window and yelled "i love you", but the guy though it was connie and they tried to carry on a conversation while driving. That made their day. Then we came back and I went and got change and paid back the money i owed. THE END

Well Loer came over. We did some stuff. He ate at reiber with us using terry's ID to get a free meal. Terry went to the clippers game at staples center. Then we went to Bruinfest. Me, loer, erin, connie, lynn and keri. We all did a toilet paper wrapping contest thing. I did a horrible job. Then we went on one of those bouncing things. And we jumped around in there and got tired. Then erin and chris tried the gyroscope thing. it looked fun. After that we waited in line to go to the haunted house and it was really well done. i got scared when i was looking at this mask on the wall and it was actually some guys head and he lunged out at me. After that we went to connies room. Keri and lynn went somewhere, so me and connie and erin and chris were gonna watch aliens. But first connie invited the psychos over. I kept saying that they should have just not talked to them ever because they were just encouraging them to keep trying to do whatever it is they are doing. Mary agreed with me about that when I talked to her about that when they went downstairs to let the two guys in. I would have just said like "damn you guys cant get in , oh well". Wolverine looked worse in person. Apparently he is in Delta terrace so I'm not gonna go there. but the guys came up. And they just stood there like morons. And apparently one of them was wearing really tall shoes, but i didn't notice. Then we watched Aliens which was a cool movie. It was all dark and we had popcorn and we bought some drinks at puzzles. Mary fell asleep 20 minutes into it. I guess you can fall asleep like that with noise just like we used to fall asleep at net parties even though people were still playing. Aleins was real cool. Especially for a 1986 movie. The guy from terminator 1 was in it. That guy was cool too.

Oh yeah. Loer said that UCLA was just like torrance high. I guess he might be right. But I still like it way better. I'm just way happier. Not bitter. Also for you Jason , i finally fixed the jc news link.

Ok the Chem midterm sucked. We had 7 insanely long stochiometry problems / quantum mechanics problems and two written short answers to do in 1 hour. They didn't even have the really complex quantum mechanics that I studied for last night. That was stupid. They weren't that hard its just they had lots of conversions and took like 10 minutes each. I didn't do one on photon energy because I didn't know how to do it and would have taken a long time to think about it. Now that i've though about it i know how to do it, but i was under a lot of pressure. i decided not to go to math afterwards to recover. First math class i missed so far.

Well today I did a marathon 3 hours in the "sex room" on reiber 3rd floor, studying Chem. Thanks to connie i learned a lot. I think i'll do pretty well tommorrow on my midterm. The CS project got changed to prime number factors instead of just factors and I finished it. That was a lot more complicated than the other two so i'm happy, we at least had to think. Nothing else much is happening right now. BTW check this out. I got on the register.

I just got up. I have no class today which is good. We gave out like 9 pieces of candy total. one group of kids came and I gave them candy. No other kids came. That was a disappointment. Then again our hall wasn't even decorated. Me and Scott are gonna eat the rest of the candy. Connie and them didn't get to give a lot out either because their fire alarm went off.

Chem sucks. Nothing much is happening right now. Its pretty late. I've got a chem midterm on friday. I guy i know showed me the sample midterm and it looked really easy, but i still have 50 pages or so that I haven't read. All the quantum number crap is confusing. I'm not sure its gonna be on the test so i'm gonna try to understand all of it.

Woohoo! Lots of good things happened. First off the graded my midterm wrong and gave me 7 out of 8 right plus 40% credit on the other. So i got 185/200. that is before curved i get an A. Woohoo. Secondly a friend of my Dad's at HP was given 10 maxtor 6800 27 gig hard drives. same model as lynn and daichi except with 27 gigs. So 5 went into prototype systems and the other 5 he gave away to tatung people which my dad got one. So he gave me it and now I've got 44 gigs of storage. Time to go download the internet. Also my mom is giving me $60 a month now and they paid for my rockports. woohoo.

Now for the unhappy news. I wasted $5 going to the homecoming game. I wore the $175 worth of clothes I bought when I went shopping with Lynn. I'm gonna have to buy more I guess. Had some GAP khakis and a strucutre swaeter thingie. And rockport shoes. (My dad said i should have spend more and got Clarks or something). I saw a lot of people that went to college. A lot of them seemed to be real assholes. They immediately went back to their little cliques. Like I said "HI" to Shadi 3 times and waved at her. She did not awknowledge my existance. I guess they turn you into assholes at USC. At least Alan Gordon talked to me, he was cool. Barry was real cool too. Still can't believe that ben belzer flew back from Illinois to be there. Seems that Christina and Megan will only awknowledge my existance if Terry or some ASB person is with me. Fucking ASB people should die and burn in hell. The former ASB people even got to go onto the field when the court was getting pictures taken. Me, Jason, Randy, and Carter were relegated to just chanting "Chris Loer". Fuck Torrance makes me bitter. At least I got to see my family and some of my relatives. Jason made a stupid mistake. It was cool seeing him.

Took my math midtern today. Wasn't that bad. I checked online and saw that I got 6 right ouf of 8. And the first and second ones I got wrong. THe first one I got almost all right except i didnt' multiply be delta x. and the second one i didn't multiply by delta x also but i'll probably partial credit for both. Hopefully i'll get an A-.

In non - school news, well I got up really late. And did nothing. And ran out of clean clothes, but i'll save the dirties for torrance. That and I'm going back to torrance tommorrow. Not really that excited. I guess i'll get my fridge. I'll see Jason. That'll be cool. Cool.

Ok all I can say is that my Compsci class blows. Its too damn easy and there is too much busy work. I had to write a stupid summary for my program, complete with a "What I learned" section and I had to print out the source and output on paper. And I had to comment like crazy AND make the program moron-proof. This is worse than Reif's class. Damn I hate this crap. I just got done with that crap. It took me 2 minutes to write the program and half an hour to figure out how to document it all.

Well I have yet another big decision. I am gonna go to the homecoming game. Now I can go to the dance the next day with Jason which i'm still not sure I like the idea of. Or I can go gorge myself with food at emerald bbq. This sucks. Having to make decisions.

Well i've got two quizes tommorow. Shouldn't be too bad. The math mid term is on thursday. That could suck. We tried to do the sample one and well it sucked. You can't use a calculator so it blows. Also i've got a cool mp3. It's a techno one that is called "warez the phuture". it rocks. Now if anyone can send me the comedy "the warez song" I'd really appreciate that.

Well didn't do much today. Went to lunch. Went to math. Went home. Did math homework for today. Did CS homework for the next 11 days. I can't believe they gave us a program which me and Gaurav (guy across the hall in my class who has no programming background) both did in 5 minutes. I mean Gaurav just read the book and it was easy for even a newbie. Oh well , i hope this lasts. Its 12:52 am. Still haven't taken a shower for the night. Both my roomates are gone. Terry, Lynn, and Connie went home to Torrance. Had some really good spaghetti today with my friend Steve i met at orientation. We talked about starwars and clubs at school. I told him the mr. hawkins is an asshole story. He told me about a person they made up with named Fred Bob and made the president of their economics club. Hmm... what to do tommorrow. Read some chem i guess. BTW i'm coming home next weekend. Might go to homecoming. still up in air. I'll be at the football game to see all of you. Jason is coming back next weekend. It'll be like during the summer. We'll probably have to go mrrnmrmmrning.

Had no classes today. Officially not i didn't want to go. Woke up at 11:40. Went to eat with terry, lynn, connie, mary and erin. Food was horrible. I think i had half a grilled cheese sandwich. Then I came back here and did math homework with terry. This was actually new stuff pretty easy though. Did some laundry at the same time. Then played basketball for an hour with the "basketball god" Jordan. We won. Ate at 6 with the same people as lunch except some of terry's roomates who played basketball ate with us. Then played basketball again with terry and his roomates and random people for about an hour and a half. Now i'm gonna study with connie probably. Have to read chp 15. Its about quantum mechanics in chem and it sucks

Well as for today's hans news. Well I woke up too late to go to chem. Then I went to math and connie and terry went with me. I wonder if they like my teacher better. I ate before math with connie, lynn, mary and erin. There wasn't anything real good so I went the safe route and had a salad. Terry didn't come because he though the he was supposed to go after class or something. oh well. Then after math I sat in my room playing mp3s. Then I decided not to go to CS lecture again, it's useless. I watched American Beauty on ASF (thanks jason). I was trying to download more mp3s at the time so I missed a few parts. I got all 3 blink 182 albums if anyone cares. Then I ate dinner at 7 with Connie and Lynn. Terry didn't wanna come again. Then I went to Lynn's room and tried to fix her printer. It started working, but i guess its out of black ink. Then went to Connies' and watched American Beauty again. caught all those parts I missed. I'm telling you all this is a great movie. I must see. Might even be worth full adult price at night.

I did laundry. I lucked out because someone left 24 minutes on the dryer so I didn't have to pay that extra 50 cents. Connie is doing her homework. Terry is doing his homework. Everyone is. I did two more math problems today making it 4 out of 7. Connies asked me to do them and these two were a little confusing. I'm wasting way too much paper because i just write it all sloppily. Connie was watching American pie. The pie scene is funny. Tolu is sick. He fell of his bed and hurt his ribs this morning. But he is okay now and was singing along to the radio for quite a while. I am now an all advantage member just as terry and his roomates are. $12.50 free a month. cool its like a free haircut. I use the mousemover that Tolu's brother sent me so that I can just leave IE on and have it make money for me over night. Woohoo! BTW Brian I shudder at the thought of you doing that. Didn't update yesterday. not too exciting. went to westwood with lynn and connie. at burgerking. walked around. ate ice cream. went back listened to mp3s. ate dinner. went to connies at midnight. listened to kai and did homework and talked about how stupid Jamba's chrisitanity converting is. Thought about most reasons why it doesn't make sense. Realized I'll probably never believe in it unless someone really has a good argument proving it.

Well Willy came up with a friend of his. We showed him around Westwood and the dorm and stuff. He's really excited about going to college. I forgot his friend's name (sue me for being a moron). Anyways we went around Westwood and terry bitched about how retarted it was walking around which doesn't make any sense. We were barely able to pry his ass off his computer to go with us. First we tried to go to the resfest but they wanted IDs and Willy probably wouldn't have been able to get in. So we walked to westwood and it was kick ass. We found a baja fresh and I got a lemonade there. And we even found a subway and a carl's jr. Now will and his friend both agreed with me that the spoon fork combo is better than the chopsticks. Westwood is cool. Its sort of like walking around in manhattan though not quite that good. I think Will (i guess he'd rather be called that) will be back maybe in a month so that we can go out on a thursday when they have all the parties. It sort of sucks too because now that rush week is over you have to be some dumbass pledge or be on a list to go to them. Also we did eat at 5:30. Somehow when I go eat with the girls we end up with better food. The spaghetti I had was pretty good. Next time if its a choice between eating with James and Terry or going with Connie, Lynn, Erin and Mary I'm going with them. Even Will said that it was stupid that I didn't go with them the last time. Fuck I'm a moron.

Well i fixed the grammar problem. Now no one will ever know. I went and watched 3 kings with Erin (connie's roomate who was cool enough to drive us), Lynn and Connie. It was pretty good. It wasn't a blockbuster super-death special effects marathon, but it had a pretty good story and was overall cool. And i will find out why Mark Wahlberg and torrance are related. Also there were a lot of "sluts" as connie called them walking around in westwood looking like morons pledging for sororities. We should have yelled out at them.

Also I played some basketball. At first when it was 3 on 3 I was playing pretty well. But when it got to 4 on 4 it was a little crowded and I always got my shots blocked by Jordan. James was being lame and wouldn't play. I mean he's at least somewhat tallish and he just wussed out. Daichi came un-fashionably late as usual. He played okay, but he isn't the superstar he thinks he is. Lastly I would like to say that wearing basketball shorts to play ball is very good. They are not only lighter, but they don't itch, you can move better in them and you don't get you regular clothes all smelly.

Well today I got woken up (correct this please I have no idea what grammar should be there) at 6 again because of Tolu and Scott. I sorto of psuedo-slept for about 3 more hours. I was late for chem lecture by about 2 minutes and barely found a seat. He explained milliken's and jj thompsons experiments which I understood very well but at least now i know I was thinking the right way. Then the fire alarm went off about 5 minutes after I got there. It was really loud so we all had to go outside. He said if it didn't turn off then we wouldn't have class. Well I waited outside with Steve and Suha (i met them at orientation) and we got bored after 2 minutes and decided to just leave. I went with them to ackerman and finally got my book for math. only this book though it cost the same had a cdrom for math in it. Cool. Then I went to math where I found out that my professor had a made a mistake and wasn't supposed to give us that quiz the other day so it didn't count. He said most of us got it right. Then I ate with Terry and its still really wierd because i'm getting between 4-6 hours of sleep a night yet I'm really energized. Lastly Pink lemonade tastes really good. Goes down fast, not like coke. //UPDATE I went to my compsci class. It was so bad that I left in the middle. So today I went to 2 out of a possible 4 hours of class.

I am totally loving this. I've barely done anything at all. I had a total of two chem problems to do for the week. And they were really easy. All I do is basically sit here and surf the net and go to class and occassionally eat. It sort of sucks though because it'll probably not last and everyone else is doing stuff so there really isn't that much stuff to do.

Well class was real easy today. I had to get up at 6 though because Tolu's alarm clock went off and it's really loud. That was a good 4 hours sleep for me. Then I went to chem discussion but it was only 15 minutes because no one had any questions. So I came back and ate a hot breakfast for the first time this week. I had a couple pancakes and bacon. MMMM! Then went to math discussion at noon and no one had questions again. So my professor/TA explained simpson's rule and all the proof behind it to fill time and then we had this super easy quiz. Also I lost my nail clipper so that sucks. And I went and bought a calculator for $10. Pretty decent Sharp one. I used to have one of those in 7th grade algebra.

Chris when I went to London the British food tasted like total crap. It was really flavorless. No wonder columbus went to get spice. Also I'm starting to feel the side effects of being soda-less. I've had two cans of pepsi in the last 3 days and I only drank those because the RA gave them to us. Not drinking soda better be good for me. Lastly I'm too lazy to do my calc homework so I'm not gonna do it. I understand it so oh well. Lastly I think today is officially bag on hans day.

Well I hear the brian's computer is running again. Also I had a chem class today. That was so lame. The seats were so cramped. I can't believe so many people were taking notes on crap like an element is a blah, a compound it two elements, a diatomic is blah, a homogenous blah. Its hard to sit in those seats. The class is gonna be easy. We aren't even gonna do gas laws and there are no labs so its gonna be way easier than schwartz's. My math class was pretty easy. I think that my teacher is required to demo everything with an example because that is what he's doing. Lastly I've got a CS class at 4pm. I'm not gonna bring anything. It kind of sucks since i've got all these little gaps in my schedule.

Well I am back at UCLA. I'm not gonna go back to Torrance for at least 3 weeks. I watched "Driving me Crazy" with Lynn and connie and a couple of connie's cousins because Three Kings was sold out. It wasn't that good. Probably something i'd watch if i was bored and it was on HBO or something. At least this gives us an excuse to go out to westwood to watch Three Kings now. I ate much better food in Torrance. We went to dinner on saturday at a Chinese restaurant and had lobster and good stuff because my dad had to go to london that night and well British food has to be the worst food on earth. Also I've got to find some better restaurants here. My cousin Janssen who graduated fron UCLA last year said there is a place in westwood where there are just sidewalk stands where all the food is $1.50 or something. I went with him to the Toyota company picnic today. It was really a nice picnic there was this juggling guy and I had some hotdogs and lemonade. I sat in a 2000 Celica and we checked out all the cars. The 2000 mr-2 spyder is kick ass. I want it. The celica doesn't looks as nice and the echo seems like a real good car for $10000. It's about the size of the current Corolla. My cousin told me that he's probably gonna leave his job within a year because he doesn't like it so he might just use his company discount and then leave. His plan is to borrow all the cars on the weekends and try them all out, even the ones with manual so he can screw up those cars while he's learning.

Lastly I bought some things in Torrance. I bought some new shoes finally. And while I was there I bought some basketball shorts and 6 pairs of those cool ankle length socks. I also bought some paper for my printer, a scissor, and a crapload of pencils. Also I went to the hospital to get my new glasses (they are just like my old ones except with a new prescription) and more pimple pills and pimple cream stuff. I think I overdid it with that pimple crap because I think i put too much and all my skin peeled off and it stings a lot now if I even put lotion on my face.
