Right now I can say that I hate history. Because I have an 8 page paper due and most of it will be in the middle of my math and physics midterms. Crap. I have to copy a lot of it off the internet / BS it since i'm so behind in any reading. I mean these damn history people think that everyone in their class is a history major and that no one is taking any REAL classes. I'm gonna end up with a C in that class good thing i took it pass no pass.

OK my brother is a moron. HE somehow made his modem driver get screwed up when he installed his TI graphlink cable. THen he calls me here asking how to fix it. So i told him to use the drivers on his hard drive that i had neatly placed there in case of a moment such as this. Then he cant figure it out and installs icq on my dads computer and talks to me. Nothing too bad so far. I told him to just ask my dad for help. Anyways, apparently my dad wasn't home and this morning turned his computer on and it wouldn't turn on. So he asks my brother if he used it and my brother lied and said no, because he's a dumb shit. So now my dad is mad at me because he doesn't have his office2000 CD to reinstall since i let my cousin dennis borrowed it. But he told me I could let Dennis borrow it since he NEVER uses it, except he happens to now. So i called dennis and said I'd have to kill him if he didnt return it today because its been one week.

Ok sinec saturday this weekend has been all work and no play. Sunday i slept till 3pm because i did math on saturday real late. Then i sunday night i didnt do too much, tried to do some work but just couldn't. I thought about CS project and stopped there. Monday i did CS and then physics at night. Tuesday which was yesterday i got up early to finish the physics. After that i shipped out my motherboard and cashed the moneyorder for it. Then i got a money order and sent out the payment for my v3 2000. Speaking of that i got the old card cooler fromhome and soldered it so its professional so when i get my v3 its gonna go up to 183mhz. Also put the old ATI 3dxpression pc2tv up for sale. It goes for a lot since people want a 2nd card with tv out for presentations on ebay. I'm gonna get like $30. I'm just gonna keep my v330 as a spare / let my cousin use it for ff8 since his 2d is slow. I also bid on some sl2w8s p2-300s on ebay. The sl2w8 is the p2-300 with the p2-450 inside like matt has I bid $80 on 2 of them and $95 on one. I hope i can get one so i can pair it up with a $39 zx board from tekram and then sell the combo on ebay for $200 or so. I'm thinking now that $95 might be a little steep, though 450 is a lock and 504 is almost as well. But since a celeron 466 new is $100 maybe that was dumb. I also bid like $20 on a bunch of video cards,like a velocity 100, a xpert128, a rage128 pro 32mb. I think for $20 i might actually have a chance at getting the xpert128.

Well after mailing out my package i tried to started CS today. Didnt actually do too much work till midnight on my documentation. Got some bugs out while playing with it because Gaurav pointed out some features which i didnt have which i thought i finished on monday night/tuesday early morning. Now its wednesday early morning and i've been doing documentation. Its the best documentation i've ever done. 7 pages of it and 10 pages of coding with a shit load of comments. This project all together may have actually taken me 12 hours of actual work with lots of hours of relaxing time wasting in there. Damn, most of the straight work got done between 11pm and 6am. Wierd. An to top it all off i've been wearing the same pair of pants since sunday. I went out of my room for food only. And the packages. I missed lunch on monday, that sucked ass. And tuesday morning i fell asleep so quickly i forgot to shower. DAmn I smell like a dead rat that ate a rotten egg is on me. And there is paper and shit all over the floor. There was even socks and old shirts yesterday but i cleaned it. Paper everywhere!!!! ahahahahahah!!! oh well shower time. DAmmit my wrists hurt. I bet i'm gonna get carpel tunnel. YEAH I feel like a real programmer!!! those of you who've seen my desk at college know it looks like a little cave/cubicle. Yeah put in a fridge with sodas and hell i could be at microsoft. But with a bed above. Even more crazy!!!!

Well i got up at 3:30 pm today. I dont think thats normal. I was in torrance yesterday. I updated that About me page. Had to change the weight again and the computer stuff. I put the v3 2000 in there because i already won the auction and i know i'll forget to add it later. Check goes out tuesday. My computer kicks arse now. This week on a scale of 1 to 5 was about a 2.5 , 5 being good. I got 100% on the elevator project, my history and CS midterms i figure i got a B on. So that was the good part. Now i'm still catching up in math and i've got CS project 2 to code in 4 days. Should make out all right. I should be doing math now , still have 1 assignment to catch up on, it was 4 2 days ago because i finally went up to jordans and james and asked what problems we were supposed to do. I'm feeling lazy and its raining so makes it more lazy for me. I ruined something big time. So those are the bad things. Well I haven't been updating as frequently, so i still probably wont be. Speaking of updating jason's page may hold the record for non updates at this point. Oh well , i really dont care if you read this page so i'm not gonna thank you.

Well this morning i had my chinese history midterm. It was pretty easy, i finished first. That could be a bad sign. But i figure i got no less than a B-. Maybe i shouldn't have pass/no passed this class. oh well. After that i slept. And then i ate at mongols. And then i played basketball. We got killed 76-20 again. I drove to the lane maybe 3-4 times got swatted and missed. Big white guys tried alley-opp dunk. Missed it but they did it reverse after the game. At least we got to play at pauley' but not the main court. Doh. Well now its time to do my CS practice midterm.. Great. And i'm still screwed in math. Someone please tell me what assignments we've been doing. Maybe i should ask jordan or james.

Well I dont get it with you guys. I had a pretty good day today. Stop complaining about shit. And i'm looking forward to tommorrow. I'll take my midterm and then Mongolian bbq for dinner. Yes instead of buying expensive ass flowers for mary, erin, connie and lynn I figured might as well just take them to dinner. At first I was gonna pay for all this, but Terry said he'd pay half so even cooler! Right now I'm still studying history/on the net. I've been reading this crap for 3 hours now. I'm probably gonna pass and I've got a real good understanding of Chinese history. not bad for 2 lectures. I can hold my own in discussion so I feel pretty good. Ok, time to finish these notes, and then get up and actually eat breakfast. The other day I ate breakfast for the first time in a long while and it was good. MMMMM bacon.

After seeing the dunk contest today, well I can say that Vince Carter IS amazing. Totally amazing.

Win NT 2000 will be my main OS now. A few problems so far. Logitech mouseware doesn't work. They say there will be new ones, no big deal because scroll wheel still works with intellimouse support though not quite as well. My digital camera locks up the picture program but its ok if i download the pics throught the twain driver so no biggie there. Rio 500 audio manager isnt working but diamond said they'd have a new one for me when win2k is released to public. Worst thing is my printer has no drivers so i cant print. I emailed xerox hopefully they'll have a driver. Gaurav upgraded over win98. Seems to work perfect. So that disprooves that theory. The avermedia tv98 alpha drivers aren't really working for him though. I'm debating whether to get a velocity 100 or not. I can get it at buy.com for $52 after $10 coupon and $10 in free web certificates. Its about 20 fps faster than my voodoo2 so i'm thinking no right now. I'm selling my mp2000 online for $120 or so on ebay. That was the going rate. Selling the k6-2/400 and board. btw free money of the day! NEXTEL Go there and click on the demo thing. Then watch the demo and ask them to call you. A rep will call within 2 minutes and take down your address and talk to you about nextel cell phones. You dont have to buy anything they'll just send you some crap in the mail. But you get a free american express $20 gift card. Not bad for about 10 minutes of my time. Also I got some more crap from Emusic.com. After the rave mp2000 promo they have a new one this month. If you spend $1 you get a pair of jensen behind the head headphones. Shipping is free. If you spend $25 you also get a set of logitech soundman x2 speakers. This is a 25 watt sub with 2 8 watt sats. $100 at compusa. So i bought $25.90 worth of crap only to notice later that they had pre packaged $25 sets. Anyways, these speakers are good, gonna sell my old flat ones for $30 or so. And yes this place is legit, i did get the rave mp2000 a couple days ago.

Today was the ACA / NSU dance. Cost $12. It was worth it because it was fun and well you can't get enough fun in your life, someday you'll die and regret you didnt pay that $12. I went with connie, keri, mary, daniel and lynn was there too. For some reason joyce chino, brandon hall, and jana watanabe were there. Real wierd. I mean its for college students. (El co is not a college, never will be) I also got a haircut today because someone called my hair ghetto and well it was starting to look bad. Another good thing was my math midterm I got 58.3% before the curve. I thought i was gonna get like 45%. So i was real happy. (yeah i know you guys are thinking that college is lowering my standards, but school isn't that important and i will pass the class i hope)

Also i got a lot of packages this week. I got 2 sets of headphones, 24 batteries, 2 packs of underwear another mp3 player (which terry is using until his comes). Buy.com is gonna go out of business. The batteries came in a box about 15" by 14" by 5". 24 AA batteries!! Anyways, i found a way to get $15 more free stuff on buy.com. Register on webcertificate.com and get free $5, then use the $10 buy.com coupon and buy things only in electronics section because it has free shipping. Basically this means either more headphones or disposable camera but hey its free right? The rave mp2000 will go on sale on ebay. Should get me at least $110. BTW diamond tech support sucks. I ask about how to reflash my flash card from rio format to sm format and they said there isnt a way at all and were real unfriendly. Then I asked if there was any way to make the rio 500 work in win2k and they say "just check the web site" in also an asshole tone. Plus they never respond to email.

WARNING! Stop reading here if you dont want to read the computer geek talk. Well i upgraded my computer a lot (it didnt' take too long at first, i just put in the motherboard and win98 just detected everyhing, too bad linux messed up my partitions indirectly). I got the tekram p6e40-a4 EX chipset motherboard and celeron 466 and a tekram slotket from terrr. Turns out my hard drives or the motherboard dont like 83mhz bus. It was wierd. At 83mhz bus the board would boot and lock before detecting the hard drives, then you hit reset and it was fine. Then it'd lock up when playing in windows. I'm thinking the hard drives, especially the maxtor one though the seagate by itself still locked so it could be the motherboard. I figure the EX chipsets are crippled LX chipsets since windows recognizes them as the same thing. The EX hasn't been made in a long time so the yields from back then might not have been as good. Other than that 583mhz was working at 2.2 volts but it would crash if i used the hard disk a lot. They werent even in DMA mode so so much for that. So i'm running 525mhz at 2.0 volts now, with DMA on which is about the same speed. All for $140. What does suck is that i have to pay $15 because those idiots at axion sent my other order even though we cancled like 10 minutes after the order was placed. The computer is real fast now. I tried to erase linux, but i couldn't reclaim the 6Gb partition since stupid linux destroyed my partition table. Even partition magic couldn't save it. So i installed windows2000 and everything works great. Only bad thing is I had to use beta voodoo2 drivers that i found and that my rio 500s software doesn't work in w2k. The USB connection is fine because i can still flash the bios of the rio500 but the rio audio manager doesn't work. So i have to use tolu's win98 system to upload songs. Not too bad. Win2000 is very very fast and much much more stable. Sure the standard install used about 800megs. And there is no way to really customize it. I.e. you have to install outlook express and whatever backgrounds. I couldn't pick.

I went to see scream 3. That was a good movie. Uh... ate at some chinese restaurant, Schezuan wok something. And then beat soul caliber with every character. Thats all. And I found out that there is a very good chance that me and JC were the only ones with a working elevator. High fives all around. Oh yeah and here is a cool mp3 by Eiffel 65.

Ok someone actually bid on my k6-2/400 and board for $50. I also canceled the C300 since it doesnt have fsb changing and ordered a Tekram EX board for $38.40 including shipping at tekramusa.com. It is 4pci , 3isa but most importantly has up to 83mhz bus. we have no idea when terry's 550e will come in so I'm probably gonna order a 466 at onvia.com once i find out whether all the other orders were cancled. So all together its costing me $38.50 for a motherboard and $96.50 or so for a celeron 466 + $5 for terry's old slotket. So $140 for a good upgrade. The 466 will be run at 525. $80 or so will come from the auction so not bad at all. Like a $60 upgrade and my computer will be like 30% faster in games and 20% more in apps. When my alladvantage check comes in, I'm thinking of picking up a velocity 100 (v3 2000 8mb for $60 or so) and i'd have a death computer again.

Hmmm... I woke up at 2 today. I went back home for a little while. Today is Chinese new year. Technically that was yesterday but i didnt go to sleep yet so its still today. Got some money, had some good food and when i came back i finally fell over the edge. I bought a micronics c300 lx board (works with tnt2s so i figure the AGP port is good) for $39. And i'm buying terry's celeron 400/slotket and fan once his p3-550e comes in. That destroying my rio thing was the last straw for super7. One of these days i may get an athlon but i just want reliablity right now. 400mhz is fast enough for what i do as long as i have fast hard drives. I looked at the benchmarks on anandtech and the celeron 400 is faster than my k6-2 at 450. The whole thing theoretically costs me $110. Hopefully the p3-550e comes in or else i'm gonna have to order a celeron 466 or something online and that'll cost a lot more. The difference between a 466 and 400 is like 1.7 winstone points so i dont think its worth an extra $45 for me. I'll probably go back to AMD some day with either a laptop or an athlon , but its too expensive now. My old pa-2013 and k6-2/400 and fan are on ebay being auctioned off for $50. Hopefully it'll hit $80 or so.

I LOVE BEING A PROGRAMMER!!!!!!!!! Me and JC worked on our elevator from about 9-12. It didnt work. SHe went to work at covel front desk from 12-6. So I decided to recode most of it. 5:30 am and frutation was mine!!!! I reduced the entire program down to 3 classes. A scheduler class (i only made this because those moron graders said there couldn't be any regular functions or anything in main), and an elevator class, and personclass. I didnt even have to use the floor class after re doing the program. ANd it works. Perfectly. HAHAHAHA. The worst part was 2 hours of debugging. But it was all worth it. I've had a total of 5 hours sleep the last 36 hours. And I feel GREAT!!!!

Oh yeah. I got 75/100 on my physics midterm because i'm an idiot and wrote the new velocity instead of the new acceleration. B-- it is. Bad but not too bad i guess, i need to shape up. Anyways, go to emusic.com to get a rave mp2000 32mb smartmedia expandable mp3 player. This is one of the better rated players. Its no rio 500 or nomad 64 but still very nice for $50. You have to buy $50 worth of really crappy mp3 and you get it free. The first 5000 people who sign up will get it, they will keep the link up till then. Me terry and terry's roomate david got one each. They sell for $110 -120 on ebay so worst case i just sell it there for a quick profit. Yes i am a capitalist pig, but hey you gotta have money man. Well today I did many things. I had my physics midterm. All was going well until i didnt know what a british slug was. Estimated grade = B. Here's the deal of the day, Free magazines for a year just for filling out your name and stuff. you'll probably get spam, but you already do anyways. They have wired and newsweek and some other stuff. Free for a year.

Anyways as for yesterday, I finally got my rio 500. And then I broke it. My super7 motherboard didnt have its newest USB patch installed and locked up while transfering mp3s to the rio. The rio's memory was totally killed and it couldn't even turn off. Good thing I went over to circuit city and "exchanged" it with a little bit of lying. Now its working after the usb patch its fine. And this is a dope toy. I've got a 16mb SM (which i cant figure out how to get back to camera format) so i've got 80 megs of portable mp3s. To fix that problem I used the $20 free rebate thing from edu.com to buy a 8mb $19.95 8mb SM card. I ended up paying just the shipping or $3.90 for an 8mb smartmedia, cool. I also found a place that sells beef bowls for $1.75 in westwood. it was pretty good, better than the ths ones (not the yum yum bowls the other beef ones). And no i'm not cheap, i'm stretching my dollar.
