Well my system ran pretty well for 14 hours at 475mhz 2.4 volts. But then I got the wierd screen corruption like what happened at 2.6 volts 500mhz. Anyway I backed down to 450mhz and it's okay (ran quake2 demo1 for 8 hours). I put it at 2.4 volts, I think 2.2 volts would work because it was working a few days ago, but I'm gonna put 2.4 volts for more signal strength. That is what AMD does with real 450s. The extra voltage strengthens the signal on the motherboard so that it can get through all the interference. The higher the processor speed the more interference so you need more voltage if you are at the high end of a certain fab process. 450 is just as fast at 475 and terry i could probably run 475 at 2.5 volts, but there is no real point, since this is rock solid and just as fast or faster anyway. When you give me back my Winstone CD I'd run it and see if it's the same. The mips in wintune are 40 off, but my hard drive throughput is a .1 mb/sec faster.

Okay enough with the computer talk. Today at school was pretty crappy. We have a stupid CPM type project in Stats. Work-wise I have no work really. I've got all my programs done in Comp Sci, and the other classes aren't giving any work really. James Carter said something really stupid in Bio today about killing Chinese and Latinos (or was it Mexicans?), anyways me and gabe and i think Mr. Pang were offended. I was really a lot more surprised he'd actually say that because it is so stupid. We were talking about overpopulation and it came up that we'd not have enough food so he said that. BTW if we didn't eat meat, since a the grazing land a cow needs, could support 10 times the capacity in grain, we could probably feed 5 times the population of america. Of course we'll continue to eat meat because it tastes good and Americans are just damn fat. They say there is a fat gene or something. Well there aren't that many fat people in Japan. Maybe it's all the inbreeding that makes fat people. You know those rednecks. Probably accounts for all the psychos too. I mean those rednecks are always the psycho killers. Like those kids at that kill their schools. They are all white. All the assassins are white. All the cannibals are white. Probably not a coincidence.

Also yesterday I went to the DMV. I had to take the written test 10 questions because i lost my permit. I got 100% because they gave me the same test as the first time. I still hate the DMV. I had to wait in line for 30 minutes. I finished the test in less than a minute but I had to wait 20 minutes to take the test and another 10 to get it graded.

Hmm. I lost my wallet yesterday. That sucks. I didn't lose any money. The ATM card is already being replaced, the library and school id cards are easy. But I lost my drivers permit. Dammit, I hate going to the DMV. It's like hell over there. Also got my new pa-2013. It's not as stable or unbuggy as the va-503+, but it is ATX. If I turn on write cache pipeline and read around write in the BIOS it locks up randomly. Lastly, Q3atest is out for MAC, but not linux or win32. That sucks. It's just like id is trying to kick us PC users in the face. Plus they say that the win32 version will be last out. I thought they said they'd all come out at the same time. This game BETTER be good.

Randy brought up and interesting point. Biology sucks!! It is not an applied science which is the worst part. In an applied science like Physics, Chemistry or Computer Science that type of deal, you have to think. It's not mostly memoerization. We learned today that you can have an idiot savant that is good at one thing and a moron at everything else. So if you had a moron memorize the bio book he'd get an A because Mr. Pang gets everything straight out of the book. Like in Chem we had to think about concepts and inderstand relationships. Comp Sci we make algorithms not memorize billions of stupid body parts. I mean I got a problem wrong because it was adrenal cortex not adrenal medulla. Now only a person who stared at the book for several hours or had photographic memory would have known that. And well the lazy people in class just can't justify doing that. I mean maybe if we had a bunch of live frogs and experimented on them and tried to logically reason why electric shocks in certain parts do certain things it could be fun , we'd actually be thinking. But the class as it is is just memorization.

I got program 35 to work for Comp Sci. I sort of got 34 to work. It does what the worksheet asks though I knew what it was really supposed to do. Mrs. Reif checked it off so oh well. Also I have no decided to get the FIC PA-2013. There are boards with more features like the Epox mvp3g-m but the epox is not as stable at 112mhz which says that it most likely isn't as stable at 100mhz as the FIC. Now I can either buy the FIC at nexcom for $100 or if juney orders from paragon then I can get it there for $72. Hopefully juney will order from paragon.

As for school, well it sucked today. We are gonna have that crappy schedule for the rest of the week. I have to get out at 3:02 for 2 days. I don't know what really sucked about school. I guess now that we've had Spring Break it makes me realize much more how pointless it is at school. Stats was gay because Mrs. Kaku is retarted and said we were supposed to do the AP questions which like 2 people did. At least we only have to see her 1 more day this week. As for me I'm done filling out my UCLA admission stuff. Hopefully Baron Davis will play well next year. As an endnote Steve was wearing his UC Berkeley shirt today. I'm actually happy for Steve since its Steve, but the shirt just fuels the hate for the future site of ION CANNON blasting.

The new 1-310 thing sucks. It takes too long to punch in 11 numbers. But there is a reason for it. If we have a NEW area code 462 or whatever , then there will be 9999999 more phone numbers in our local region. Sure the phone company could have just changed to 8 digit phone numbers but that is not practical because every phone company in the country would have to change their equipment making phone bills a lot higher. I can't believe Terry didn't understand that. The way he posted about it on his page made him sound like an idiot.

Well I learned that according to a source, that the people mentioned in the archived post, used one of those college application consultant people. But the one they used has some sort of connections with people at Berkeley. According to the source, he can put false information on their applications and his verification is enough because of the connections he has. This makes me feel relieved if it is true because they had to cheat to get in. I mean if they didn't cheat, then I feel insulted, but if it is a backroom deal or something then I don't feel as insulted. According to my source, someone named Jenniffer Yang got in last year through the same process. It doesn't matter in the end anyway, they'll all just get good jobs, but since they are incompetent and unqualified they'll get fired. Hopefully by me.

In other news I have to go to Washington DC during spring break. It sucks, but my mom got it in her head that she should drag me and my brother and sister around so we will be more "cultured." At least I get to go to the Air&Space Museum and see my cousins. It'll most likely suck going to capitol hill and if we go to an art museum I'll be very angry. I hate art museums. I went to the getty and well some of that stuff looks like complete crap. I'd trade it for like 10 cheeseburgers. I saw that painting van gogh (is that how it's spelled) made of himself with one ear. Why would anyone want a painting of someone else, let alone a crappy one and for 120 million dollars. I mean it looks like crap like a 10 year old made it. Sculptures are allright. People need skill to make those at least. That and the photographic looking paintings.

Meena Kim and Angela Sung with SAT scores of 1080 and 1020 were destined for greatness. Like every liquor store owner they had the innate ability to reap benefits they don't deserve. Ecstatic at their recent acceptence into a prestigious university like Cal Berkeley they've been working hard all their lives screwing up so they'd have sad stories to write for their college essays. Both nicotine addicts since birth, they graduated to being sluts in middle school, but have since reformed. Now they have turned their lives around by rising to between the 10th and 90th percentiles in high school, and have done their korean parents proud by robbing more deserving people of a seat at Fall semester at UC Berkeley. People like Jimmy Koontz who was flat out turned down and now has to futily write an appeal. He had been hoping to get in that school for years. He had a much more rigorous schedule, was a leader at his high school, but its too bad because he isn't black and he didn't come from a broken home with a crack addict father.

I think it sucks that the UC system has degraded into a sympathetic bunch of losers. No affirmative action ? Well screw it we'll just change the criteria so more Blacks and Latinos can come in. Grades don't matter! Being a good student doesn't matter! Just having a sad story like so many blacks and Latinos is now the principal criteria for getting into CAL Berkeley. See the problem is that disease that most Americans have. It's called sympathy. It is a disease that overrides the normal logic in our minds. They Albanians are going to get killed, we care a lot. We send troops not even thinking that we have absolutely no business there, and could be starting WWIII. You give money to people on welfare, they get used to it it gets even worse. A bunch of kids who fucked up their own lives and are such sad pathetic sights and we let them into the best public university in the country. Of course their sad pathetic stories won't help them in their classes and they'll probably just fail out of school. Sympathy! Its a disease. Wow this post is so much more civilized than the last one.

Today I learned that Meena Kim and Angela Sung got Fall semester. Steve got in Spring Semester. I'm not saying they don't deserve to be in.... Okay fine dammit they aren't what people call Berkeley material. Daun says that together Angela and Meena's test scores are close to mine. I mean WTF? Terry says Meena had special circumstance. I think this special circumstance shit was called equality of results or something in government. Who gives a fuck about special circumstance? If you are interviewing two people for a job and one of them is a fucking moron that came from a broken home and the other is vastly superior in every way then who gets the job? Not the moron, no. Dammit I better get a good job when i'm outta college. Another example is Juney and terry. I mean no offense to them or anything, but I'm 100 times the programmer Juney is and Terry doesn't program. Of course they got in as comp sci majors, and me the one who wants to consider his options as "undeclared" gets screwed up the ass. Berkeley gave higher priority to Angela Sung, and Meena. Me and Christina Tse (only other deserving person I can think of that got deferred) get snubbed. Not like I wanted to go (nor did Christina as terry tells me), but still it's the goddamn principle. Something is fucking wrong with this world.

P.S. Berkeley moves to #1 on the ION cannon list. My new plan is to let vagrants live there for 3 years, have everyone in Oakland tag the place up, Burn the place down. Ion cannon the ashes so the land is cleared then build the world headquarters for Hans Corp. there. It's a great location really. It's near an airport (oakland airport), and near silicon valley and many Fry's stores.

I got deferred at Berkeley to 2nd semester. Those bastards give me no respect. Dumb mother fuckers just want a bunch of pansy ass morons who are "well rounded". Berkeley has now been added to the Ion cannon list. To make matters worse I played basketball today but I sprained my hand. I typed all this with my right hand only. My computer is finally stable. 2.4 volts (i could have tried 2.3 but i didn't wanna waste more time) at 95x4.5 for 428mhz. It's slightly faster than 400 at quake2 / winstone so I"m gonna keep it as this. 2.4 volts, is a little extra voltage for more stability. I guess most AMDs don't overclock much. I was just spoiled by my 333 to o/c to 380. Chris and Juney's 300s don't overclock much either. Oh yeah got rejected from stanford too. At least their rejection letter was nice. Berkeley won't even guarantee me housing. I'd have to live in an apartment. Fuck them. I'm gonna go be a Bruin now.
