RemindMe Version 4.0

Introduction

RemindMe is a extremely simple personal reminder program that I created originally because there were no free program which performed all the tasks which I needed to have. After making a very ugly small version, a good friend of mine asked me for a copy so I decided I would clean it up a little. After that, just for a good boredom killer, I continued working on the program. I had written the first two versions of RemindMe in Visual Basic 3.0 Professional, but after learning how much more powerful Delphi was, I completely re-wrote the program in Borland Delphi 3.0 Client/Server.
I have managed to implement most of the features I plan on having available, but there are a few more important ones. Check back often to see if I have released a new version. There are also probably going to be bugs in the program, so I will have many bug fixes in future versions as well. If you find a bug in the program, please let me know by e-mailing me.
I am making this program freeware and I am going to allow anybody that wants to, to download the source code. I am hoping that people are honest enough to not try to make any money using this program. I realize it isn't that great, so it would be difficult to make any money with it, but please, don't even try.

Features

I don't claim for this program to be very feature packed and wonderful. It is quite simple, but if you don't need anything fancy, it works. These are some of the features found in RemindMe v4.0.

Reminders can be year specific or for every year.
RemindMe 4.0 will show you reminders a specified number of days in advance.
Version 4.0 now saves settings to the registry.
Reminder delete confirmation can be enabled or disabled.

Download / Installation

Installation of RemindMe is incredibly simple. In order to use this program, all you need to do is extract the REMINDME.EXE file into any directory you want. The first time you run RemdinMe, it will add its default setting values to your registry. To completely un-install the program, you will need to delete REMINDME.EXE and REMINDME.DAT (which should always be located in the same directory) and remove the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RemindMe.
