Atlas Medical Information Technology announces a strategic alliance with Atlas Development Corporation.
NORWALK, CT
Atlas Medical Information Technology has announced an alliance with Atlas Development of Woodland Hills, California, the world’s leading software consulting and development firm applying M(umps)-based relational database/SQL solutions.
Atlas Medical Information Technology will market Atlas Development’s M based software solutions to commercial and reference laboratories as well as other healthcare organizations in the U.S. and Canada. Labworks, a remote laboratory workstation application module and other packaged applications will become part of their overall strategy.
Atlas Medical will provide custom enhancements to existing M based systems along with other expert services, such as adding standard or custom interfaces for automated testing equipment. This alliance will also expand Atlas training capabilities in GUI development and Open M-SQL to the east coast of the U.S.
This announcement demonstrates Atlas Development’s commitment to the advancement of M technology within the reference laboratory business. Experts in designing and implementing sophisticated database systems, they have successfully built new applications and transformed existing M software into relational databases, accessible through client/server technology.
