MWM and Amazon.com

Amazon.com is a leading supplier of paper books on the internet. It stocks over 2 million titles and, as can be expected, it range ranges the extremes and niches of both the fiction and non-fiction range. Amazon's titles are very competitive and popular titles are normally marked below suggested retail price.

MWM is now selling Amazon.com titles from its web pages. Through this arrangement, MWM earns a commission on every book sold through its site. The purchaser still pays the same price as if the book was purchased directly from Amazon.com. All purchases are done on a secure server.

Why should I buy through MWM?

At MWM we have said in past issues that we would like to embark on a number of projects that will benefit the entire M community. On the top of our list are the MWM Awards. These awards will be presented yearly to the person or company whose product or service our readers consider the most innovative. We would like to set up an award to the author of an M-related article in any publication that our readers like best. Other projects are prized based competitions for our readers.

The costs necessary to embark (and maintain) such projects must be sourced and this association with Amazon.com could raise the cash necessary to materialize our ideas.

What if the book isn't listed?

Our list is a very small one. If you would like to help MWM by purchasing a non-listed book through us send us an e-mail titled: Amazon Book Order. In your e-mail please specify the title, author and ISBN of the book. Soon after, you will get an e-mail from us containing a hyperlink that will take you to a page where you can continue your Amazon.com order.

How can you help?

The Amazon.com project is just one fund raising project. Any company that would like to help MWM is only an e-mail away. Little things that are normally given away at conferences would be useful for prize associated competitions for our readers. Many companies have such promotional material to give away to clients. We only ask for a few for our reader. Companies wishing to set up their own product-centric competition on MWM are also invited to contact us. In return for such co-operation participating companies will get a placing in out Thank You page.
