Malta is world renowned for its craftsmanship. In areas such as stone masonry, ship building, filigree, lace, and pottery experience has been failtfully transmitted from one generation to another by word of mouth until in more recent times, permanent records are being kept. While modern technology is now quickly replacing the slower methods, some of these creative skills are being taught to the younger generations.

Today, Connie looks at pottery (hand made and hand painted).

Fishing nets, baskets and other tools help explain this type trade.

Connie welcomes your comments and is happy to provide you with more information about pottery skills in Malta.
