In your most recent edition (with special editorial coverage about the MSM
acquisition), you show a graph that purports to depict the revenue performance of
InterSystems. The datapoints represented in your graph are incorrect. Since InterSystems
is a privately-held company I am not permitted to give you the actual revenue details,
however I can tell you that the historical slope is a continuous climb, without the
decline in recent years that your graph indicated. So far in 1998 we are seeing a
significant increase in revenue, due to the success of Cache', our post-relational
database product introduced last September. We appreciate your coverage of InterSystems,
and just wanted to set the record straight regarding our historical revenue performance.
Best regards
Richard Deutsch,
Director of Corporate Marketing.
I am a beginner (1 yr) M Programmer (also VA FileMan and Kernel) in the US. I wonder if
you know where I might find a Salary Survey which would include M(umps) Programming.
