To calculate mortgage payment schedule, enter Principle loan amount, Overpay amount (optional), Interest Rate, and the Term, then click the Calc button.

You can use the edit fields to enter values, or use the up/down spin buttons to adjust values. Or, with the text caret on the edit field, click on the on-screen numeric pad to enter a number. The on-screen numeric pad is provided, so you don't have to bring up the soft keyboard in the lower right corner. BS is backspace.

When you click on the Calc button, the list box is filled with the payment amounts for the life of the loan. At the bottom, you'll see the total number of payments, and total years and months. Also, the total amount paid, and the total paid in interest are shown.

The Tools menu looks like so. Select About MortCalc... to see the About Box, or Exit to exit program.

Testing

This program has been tested on the following platforms:

Dell Axim X5 PocketPC 2002
PocketPC emulator, running PocketPC 2002

Since I can't buy all the PocketPC devices available, I'd appreciate it if you'd send me an e-mail if you've tested this program on other devices.

Install

Copy the file, MortCalc.PPC2000_2002_ARM.CAB, to your PocketPC. You can either use ActiveSync to copy the file over to your device, or copy it onto flash media.
Run File Explorer and double-click on the CAB file.
