LS is a Unix-style directory list program for the Windows 95/98/NT platform.
Requires Windows 95/98/NT. This is a Console application for the Windows 95/98/NT platform. Run this program from a DOS box.
Usage:
LS [-ACRTVacdglorsw]
-A About program
-C# Cluster size, in bytes
-R Recursive listing
-I? Show additional info (adds -l, removes -T)
c checksum
-T Truncate filenames (replaced w/ ...)
-V Show version info (adds -l, removes -T)
-a Show all files (hidden, system, ., ..)
-d? Directories
b don't add '\'
e print empty dir names
-c? Case
u upper
l lower
n none
-g Put directories first
-l Long listing
-o? Sort by
n name
e extension
s size
t time/date
x none
-r Reverse sort order
-s? Show only
f files
d directories
p programs
e executables
-w# Number of columns
(1-5, 5 default)
Example:
LS -A Show About text
LS -ot -cl Sort by time/date, convert to lower case
Bring up the About Box in the program to see copyright notice.

Uncompress the LS103.ZIP file using PKUNZIP or WinZIP into LS.EXE, 47,104 bytes. Copy file into a utilities directory, like bin\, where all utility programs are stored.
