Thanks for clicking on the rules! I know that most of you hate long, drawn-out instructions, so I promise to make this as quick and painless as possible!

Those of you who don't know what interactive stories are are in for a real treat. Basically, they're stories where you decide what happens. Starting on the first page, you read the beginning of the story. Every so often, you'll come to a place where the story branches off. You choose which path you want to take, and the story continues.

Sometimes, however, you'll come to a point where you don't like any of the available options -- or where there aren't any choices available! You may then add a path of your own.

Adding a path is quick and easy. All you need to do is fill in a few blanks, and then write as much as you wish. When you're finished, just click the "Send" button, and the story will be delivered to my mailbox. I'll put it on for other readers to view as soon as possible.

If you have one of the rare browsers that does not support the standard form, never fear! Towards the bottom of the page is a link to mail me. The subject line is already there (please don't change it!), so all you need to do is tell me your name and write your part of the story!

Virtually anything can be added to the story. All that I ask is that you don't create any dead ends (at least, not unless they're really clever), and try to remain as inoffensive as possible. This story is PG Rated and will stay that way! Also, feel free to add as much to the story as you'd like. Come back anytime, and see what other readers have done to the paths that you helped to create. As the story expands, the number of paths will grow expontially, so there will always be more to do!
