I went to the wall two different times. One of the time it was during winter. If you plan to visit the wall in the winter months, please dress appropriately. Plan on walking a good amount. You will need to hike up a hill and up the stairs of the wall. While on the wall, you will want to walk along it for a while and it winds around and up various hills. This picture show the good view from the wall and an idea of how cold it can get. |

In the middle of Tienimen Square vendors their often try to sell you kites of eagles and various birds. They're interesting and inexpensive. |
