PS: If you people keep sending in comments, tips, cheats, and links, I might makeup a newsletter which I could write weekly (or most likely bi-weekly)

Well, I am getting a lot of support for my page, so I am going to keep updating every time I can. As some
of you know I get very busy with work, but because of the massive feedback I am getting I will keep
updating the page.
On a side note, I don't think that counter is working right, I am going to see about it.
I have recently received an email from Bullfrog (Those great people who made Syndicate Wars),
and it contained the ACTUAL CHEATS, so as you will see, the are posted here now.
I had better stop writting and get on with updating the page now ahy?

And in this corner I'll keep you updated on my page, where it is going, and what is coming soon. Currently I am busy redesigning my page so that it is not one massive long document.
I am thinking about using frames, but I will put a non frames version up aswell. By now, most will realize that this page wasn't
designed to be viewed by a browser less than Netscape 2.0 or Internet Explorer 3. I may, make the non frames version compatible
with older browsers, but I will not sacrifice quality for quanity of people visiting. For those without a later browser: Get one, and keep
up with the human race.
Don't forget people, the only way this page will be kept up-to-date is if I receive feedback from all of you. So far I have received 15 email messages
concerning the page. Each time a new bunch comes in (They seem to always come in in bunches), I update the page. So here is
a survival tip for the Syndicate Wars Survival Page, tell me what can be improved on this page. Let me know of the latest developments in Syndicate
Wars. I have been very busy lately with work and all, so I have had little time to play Syndicate Wars (bring out the violin) or check out
what is new.
One of the most powerfull weapons that you get early on is the LR Rifle. The LR Rifle is the longest range weapon you can get for most of the game. It is also one of the most powerfull ones. Its only disadvantage is that is takes a long time to reload. The best thing is as soon as you finish the mission that you first meet the LR (The bank robbery one) begin research on it. Put as much money into the research as you can. On the next mission, you won't have researched the long range, but take it with you anyway. Remember, if you fire a weapon that you haven't researched, there is a 25% chance of it draining all your energy. So use the LR for any long distance shots, where your other agents can defend the one with the LR.
Once you have completed the research on it, outfit all of your agents with them. At this time all your agents should be equiped with a minigun, long range, persuadatrons, and if you can afford it, medipacks. When you see a number of enemy agents coming toward you, get all of your guys to bring out their LR's, and fire the a round from each of your agents, now as fast as possible, whip out the mini's and continue firing at the agents. If there are a lot of them, and they are still not dead after about 10 secs, the LR should be ready again, pull it out and let the agents shoot the next volley, and then back to the mini's.
Before a firefight, put the drugs right in the red. It is best to let the agents fire the LR's when the bad guys are charging you, as they rarly miss and you can sometimes slip.
I can not stress the importance of the LR Rifle enough. It is what will keep you alive in many mission to come.
Another Tip You will notice that when the agents are grouped and 'in the red' then the controlling agent does not fire unless you force him to. My tip is to select a different controlling agent and let the first one fire himself. Keep rotating the controlling agent as they get reloaded. This is especially economical when you are trying to keep the pressure on targets that are just in range (for example where you are hovering over water in a car and shooting at enemies on the bank).

Whenever you use the miniguns, make sure you tell the agents where to fire by holding down the right mouse button. Don't let the drugs do the work, as the agents don't fire as fast unless you hold down the right mouse button.
Do not underestimate the power of the minigun. I feel that in close combat with lots of enemy agents, they are better than pulse lasers. I used miniguns over lasers for quite awhile.
These guys can sometimes be annoying, especially early on. If you see a flying APC and it isn't coming toward you, but looks like it is patroling, then you are in luck. Usually these guys will patrol around a set area and you can fire LR's at them a few times before they wake up. I have sometimes killed APC's without them ever straying from their patrol route to fire at me.
As soon as you see a flying APC, yank out the LR-Rifles and pump up the drugs to the red. Fire the first volley of shots at it. If it doesn't charge at you, wait there for it to come around again, and fire another volley of LR's. When the vehicle wakes up and does charge toward you, whip out the miniguns and continuously fire at it till the LR's are reloaded. Fire another volley of LRs. Then back to mini's.
As soon as the APC starts flying out of the sky, run out of the way of it. The last thing you want is fly debris, or even worse, the vehicle itself, to hit you. If it is safe to do so, lower the drugs in the agents who are wounded back to normal, they heal faster with no drugs pumping into them.
Another Tip
As soon as you see one flying toward you, head for shelter, in a building or under some stairs, they won't attack you there. Now, send one guy out, and if he is attacked, this is the guy the APC is going for. Keep trying to find the guy that the APC is going for, and leave him under cover.
Now, send the other 3 guys around behind the APC and start blasting him out of the sky. Just make sure you get out of the way before it crashes into the ground.
Pretty darn scarry things the first time you see one if you ask me, but suprisingly easy to kill. You'll be able to hear one coming, it is a very mechanical sound in the distance. When you see it, whip out the LR Rifles (aren't they so usefull!) and blast 4 shots into it. Next you can either run like smeg till your LR Rifle has reloaded, or stand and shoot it. If you adopt the stand and shoot stance, use miniguns. Once the LR has reload (either way you fight it), blast another four shots into it. And that is it, very easy if you have four guys.
A shootout with lasers on level ground will get at least some of your guys killed everytime, but a height advantage allows you to beat them easily. I don't understand it, but it works. Just retreat to the back corner of the barracks (The area that was just leveled by massive explosions), and position yourself so that you get a clear shot of the spiders as they approach. Be sure to charge up your lasers before you shoot to get maximum effect.Need an army?

You are bound to come across a mission which is just on the other side of impossible. Your guys get wasted every time they attack the enemy? Really wish you had an army? Well I am sure you could persuade a few people to join you.
If you have played the original syndicate, you'll know that you need quiet a few citizens persuaded to persuade a syndicate agent. Well fear not, for who needd another syndicate agent anyway, chances are you'll get killed persuading one. The best thing to do is go around persuading citizens to join you.
After you have a small number, say 40 or so (G), you can go attack the bad guys. Great thing about civilians, although they initially carry no weapons, they make great body shields. Also, persuading cops and getting citizens to pick up fallen guns definatly helps the cause. It looks quiet spectacular when 30 lasers all fire at the same syndicate agent. The only thing you have to remmeber is your army of 40 citizens can be easily leveled to 0 by one explosive left by a dead agent, so be carefull.
Well, everyone else has this info on thier page so I guess I had better as well.Getting more AgentsEPIDERMIS 1) This can be found in Eurocorp mission 3 (Matochkin Star) in the upper-left corner of the Church's base. It can also be found in Church mission 7 (Rome) in a building located in the northern Eurocorp base.
EPIDERMIS 2) This can be found in Eurocorp mission 7 (Beijing) in a building located in the middle of the map. It can also be found in Church mission 9 (Cairo) in a square building with four doors.
EPIDERMIS 3) This can be found in Eurocorp mission 10 (Buenos Aires) in a builidng located in the upper-middle section of the base in the north-east corner of the map. It can also be found in Church mission 18 (Bankok) in the weapon warehouse.
EPIDERMIS 4) This can be found in Eurocorp mission 15 (Honolulu) on a Church agent next to the tanks near the second crossroads. It can also be found in Church mission 21 (Cape Town) in the alleyway between two churches.
You might find after awhile that you are running out of agents to use on missions, and you need some more. I'd try not to get into this position, but it sometimes happens. The only way to persuade an agent, after you have lots of citizens, is to setup a trap. Find a place which has only one way in, and set youself up so that the agent has to turn a corner to fire at you, stand around that corner with your 40 citizens behind you, pull the persuadatron out. Now send one agent out as the bait (carefully check that YOU are walking into a trap), and entice the enemy agents into your little trap. The enemy agent runs down the coridor to the corner, but before he turns it, he is in range of your persuadatron. And so joins another agent to your force.
Another way to persuade an agent is to first persuade heaps of civilians. Now find a lone syndicate agent, and then right click on the enegy bar to the left of your screen, this will start flashing red, and that beeping will start to occur. What this does is turns on your shields. Now, RUN towards a lone syndicate agent and just before you reach him, turn on your persuadatron. This trick might take a few times to get it right.Getting More Money
Submited by Rob
There are really 3 ways to get more money:
The proper way:
On each level you do, look out for a bank. (A bank is a building with 3 doors infront on if) Once you find one, blow the place up. Doing this will definatly attract the attension of the local police force, so be ready for a fire-fight. The best thing is to snap the cops off with a LR before you trash the bank. If there is a police station in the level, BLOW IT UP first. Once you have blowning the bank, there will be a number of briefcases on the ground, pick 'em up. Another day, another dollor ahy?
The improper way
An important discovery was made that you can replay mission reference 3 forever, provided that you never finish the mission. That mission is where you have to persuade a bunch of scientists. And in a city called Geneva, there's an executive with two police escorts carrying $200,000. You'll have to persuade the scientist in that stage first, then the money-man will appear to the north-east of where the scientists are. After u got the money, pause the game, and quit. (Hit P to pause) You'll have the money (AND the scientists!) and you can go back to the city for another $200,000 and 2 scientists! And dont worry about not finishing the mission. The subsequent missions will keep poping up so you can leave mission 3 there and go back anytime u want.
Also, the mission reference 3 Matochkin Star City has an epidermis level 1 in it as well. Near the north east corner is two temples inside one is a breifcase. (Hold down the 'B' key to see inside the temple).
Infact, you can replay any mission reference that has more than one city to it.
Another way to get money is to follow these steps:
1) Buy the most expensive weapon for 1 agent (make sure no other agents have it).
2) Then click on the weapon (so the accept button changes to sell)
3) Click on the All Agents button. The weapon that only one agent has will disapear from the agents inventory list, but the sell button is still there
4) Click on the sell button. This will give you money as though all the agents had the weapon and sold it.
