I've been so busy with my Christmas presents that I haven't been online lately. I'd been wanting a walkman and a bike for a long time now. My Mom got me my bike for Christmas, and my oldest brother Mark got me my walkman. So now I spend all my free time tooling around the neighborhood on my bike and listening to my tunes. lol My favorite time to ride is at night. Nothing nicer than riding around looking at the stars and having the moon light your path.

I got a clean bill of health from my doctor this morning. My cholesterol has gone from 280 to 142, and all the other bloodwork came back great too. I'm glad to hear that since I've spent the last month eating only no fat, no cholesterol (no taste) food. I've been smoke free for 3 months now and I've only gained 7 lbs. Both my regular Dr and my cardiologist were happy with that. I'm not so pleased, I'd hoped I'd be losing weight not gaining.
Unfortunately the medicine I take to lower my cholesterol is more than I can afford. In fact all of my medicine is more than I can afford. ($400 a month) I get no help with my drugs, and they take a huge chunk of my (limited) income. I was able to con my doctor into giving me some samples to last the next 6 weeks. I'm not sure he'll give me more samples when those are gone. To be honest I don't even like the guy much. He's not sympathetic towards my Fibromyalgia at all, and he can't seem to get me in and out fast enough. Oh what I'd give to have my doctor from South Carolina here!!!!! Now there was a doctor! The only nice thing about the guy I see is his staff, and the fact he does all his own testing there. No need to run from one place to another getting x-rays, bloodwork, etc.
