Banner size is size of image in pixels (screen dots), e. g. 400x40 (400 pixels long and 40 pixels height) and as maximal size of image file (GIF, JPEG) in KiloByte (KB). Display ratio is ratio between number of Your banners, that will be displayed, and number of banners, displayed on Your page.
