About This File

The General.bas Visual Basic module contains a small collection of general-purpose procedures:

• CenterForm - Moves a form to the center of the desktop.
• Hourglass - Shows or hides the hourglass mouse pointer.
• RedrawWindow - Forces a window to repaint itself.
• SelectText / SelectTextUI - Highlights all the text within a text box.
• StandardizeSystemMenu - Removes the separator bar from the system menu of a form.
• ZTrim - Truncates a string at the first occurrence of the null character.
