Clickable Map Quizzes

These quizzes all share the same Java code, so the code archive only needs to be loaded once. Each map will also load an image (12K - 22K). You'll need an 800x600 screen at least, but 1024x768 is best. If there's any map you'd like to see, let me know.
  • Africa - 49 questions, quite difficult.
  • Australia - Easy (states): 7 questions, trivial. Hard (states, lakes and cities and towns): 60 questions, quite difficult. With photos by Andrew Sinclair.
  • Arctic - Easy: 9 questions, trivial. Hard: 31 questions: quite difficult.
  • UK Shires - Includes Northern Ireland. 98 questions, very difficult.
  • UK Towns and Cities - 45 questions, quite difficult.
  • Southeast Asia - Islands and countries. 22 questions, not very hard. With photos scrounged from the net.
  • Indiana - Counties of Indiana. 92 questions, and absolutely terrifyingly hard even if you lived there all your life.
  • Roman Empire - The Roman Empire, AD14. Easy: 26 questions, mostly easy. Hard: 60 questions, for experts only. It helps if you know Latin and are familiar with history.
  • Farrells - This is my family! 18 questions, easy if you know them!

Customised Maps and Other Applications

 Also, if you run a tourism or entertainment site, I'd like to remind you of my cheap rates for customised maps :-). Each location in a map can have a URL, an image and an audio file attached. I could easily create a map where clicking on a particular location takes you to a particular page, or further details for that location are displayed in the bottom-right corner of the map. The map doesn't need to be a map, it could be a team portrait for example, and clicking on a player displays details for that player. The possibilities are endless, and if you are willing to pay I can put in a big effort :-).
