Without wasting space on pictures of myself, let me jump into the real stuff. Feel free to pick up ideas from here and turn them into products, but keep them free (in the GNU sense)!
Here's my dream of a new GUI for Unix.
Freeware Unices like Linux deserve to be taken more seriously. The concept of AIX-style "logical disks" might help.
I'm also putting together a set of "marketing" ideas like slogans, logos and names for freeware.
Here's another idea I'd like to see take off, the Family PC.
Aren't you tired of living in your old shell :-) ? But seriously, I think it's time for the next quantum leap in command-line processing. Now that languages like Perl, Python and Java have made interpreters fashionable again, why not add more programming power to that mother of all interpreters, -- the shell? Take a look at what a Python Shell might look like.
My favourite problem, the Towers of Hanoi problem. It's my favourite because the solution is so elegant.
